We found Matt in early June via Yell and were quite nervous to who we would be getting as it can be a lottery but our concerns were quickly put to ease. Matt came and added skirting to a couple of rooms that had been recently redecorated. Lots of corners and expertly fitted.We then got Matt back a few weeks later to help design and build a lean-to on the side of our property. Again we were not disappointed. Matt has a very professional attitude and manner and he helped design and then build a lean-to that maximised our space and we were very impressed with the quality that was built.We had no issues whatsoever in regards to the quality of the workmanship or professionalism. After struggling to get a quote from other carpenters through other websites I stumbled across Matt on Yell. He was round to give me a quote within a couple of days of calling him and i then had him booked in to do the work only 5 days later. I had a few steps that were collapsing, 2 doors to hang plus a handrail to install and we were really happy with all the work. The steps are more solid than they have ever been. He had to knock through our wall under the stairs to gain access but made it look as good as new afterwards. The doors and handrail also look great and make a massive difference to our house.I have two dogs as well and would normally book time off work when I have tradesmen around to get them out the way, however Matt didn't mind them being there and even had his daughter with him the one day who played with them all day.Overall, I can't rate his work enough.
