Unimpressive and overpriced. Booked in for a massage with one of the male therapists. It was fine, but absolutely nothing special. There is a lot better for a lot less money in London. I would look elsewhere. More...

I've visited Colin a couple of times and there are no words to describe how amazing his massages actually are. I had worried about feeling awkward but that feeling disappeared very quickly.

I have been a fan of Colins work for years via his website and was really looking forward to finally booking a treatment. As a trained massage therapist myself (not currently practicing) sometimes it can be hard to let go and let someone else do the work .
Even though I had read up on the treatments online I did not have any preconceived ideas as to how it might go. I must say from the moment I booked, received details of clinic address etc, it was a relaxed, easy process.
The atmosphere of the clinic room was one of relaxation and comfort.
What made the whole experience special was the pre-treatment discussion where you get the chance to discuss your reasons for making a booking. This certainly makes you feel more comfortable with a therapist you have never met before.
Australian visitors maybe surprised at the cost compared to Australian prices, but when you consider you are booking a treatment with a very well respected and well known therapist you should expect to pay the going British/European rate.
In closing I would definitely recommend booking in for a treatment whilst in London.

I am very happy to commend Colin Richards of Intimacy Matters following an excellent demonstration evening on sensual massage. Colin led the demonstration very well and his style was informative, educational and entertaining. I'm looking forward to following up with further training in this form of massage and recommend anyone considering finding out more to get in touch with Colin. More...

I had no preconceptions of what this evening would entail. Borne from a certain curiosity and an email via the killing kittens business I found myself on a train to London to experience a Mantallk. The goal being personal development and of course to be better intimately with a woman. There's always room for improvement.
I would rather not spoil anyone else's surprise but suffice it to say it was far better than expected in many ways. Perhaps the least exciting part being the beautiful models and they were stunning. So if that's not a good recommendation for Colin I don't know what is.

Q&As

“I’m fascinated by human sexuality. I think sex is an incredibly important part of life, but for many people, sex and sexuality are things that just happen. But when we don’t work at understanding and improving our sexual selves or our partners, a sense of unhappiness or lack of fulfilment can affect our broader sense of self.”

“I believe that sensual massage should be regarded as legitimate body therapy. An experience where physical and sensual boundaries are of course consensual but can be broader and based on what the receiver wants rather than what the therapist is restricted to give. It should be an occasion when the basic human need of touch and physical intimacy becomes a shared experience where the natural process of human arousal is not ignored but encouraged, pleasurable and fulfilling; an experience that is both healthy and deeply relaxing and a testimony to our innate primal dynamics”

I trained as a professional masseur in 1995 but my interest in human psychology and sexuality started long before this. From two years old I grew up living in a 130-bed hotel in Salcombe South Devon UK. Following hotel management training I continued to run the family hotel for a further 20 years. It was my hospitality work plus my experience as a father of five children that gave me a deep interest in human behavioural psychology. and our curious relationship with sexuality. From as early as I can remember I could not understand why something as natural and essential as sexual intimacy was dealt with, by much of society, in such a marginalised manner. I could see that because of this clandestine relationship many have with sex it became at best an area of curiosity, or at worst an area of ignorance, confusion even shame. So when a change of circumstance came my way and the opportunity presented itself for me to re define my own life I decided to train as a masseur. I followed this with training in psychosexual & relationship therapy. ut rather than follow a traditional therapist career I committed to following my passion of helping people be the sexual beings they wanted to be and so in 2005 I brought together my talent as a masseur and knowledge in psychology with my business skills to create Massage33.

I am also a trained psychosexual and relationship therapist and Imago relationship dynamics educator. I have experience in NLP, Hypnotherapy and attained Level 2 in Co Active Life Coaching. I offer to men, women and couples, straight forward down to earth support to help clients address challenges in their relationships. Areas I specialise in are sexual fulfilment and intimacy.

I offer a more collaborative approach than traditional psychosexual therapy. After hearing my client explain the problem or difficulty I help them understand more clearly what it is that they are challenged by and why. I offer advice and strategies and techniques that can help the client overcome these issues.

Mentoring sessions can be taken on an hourly or two-hourly basis and as a single one-off appointment or as a series of six. I’m happy to meet clients face to face or, if this isn’t possible, via telephone or Skype.

If you are client going through a particularly stressful time or have a particular situation at which you want some “on the spot” support I also offer a telephone mentoring option.

Situations and issues where mentoring can help
Sexual performance: erection issues, premature ejaculation, inability to orgasm, fear of intimacy, sexual timidity
What I have always wanted to ask but… better sexual knowledge
Understanding my sexuality better – for example, married or straight but bi-curious
Sexual and emotional exploration for couples: we want to have better a sex life.
Relationship breakdown: life after separation, divorce or affairs
New relationships – getting it right this time: why do I always seem to go for the same type?
Old relationship, new spark: relighting the fire with a new perspective on your sensual and sexual relationship
Three in a bed: can sexual adventures help our relationship?
Open relationships: don’t ask don’t tell or open disclosure?
Relationship communication: how to say what I want sexually and emotionally
Cross-nationality and cross-cultural relationships: better awareness of language and attitudes
Sexuality and same-sex attraction: who am I sexually and how can I be the real me without destroying what I have already?

Dependent on your motivation, time frame and budget my private workshops can be run on a half day, standard day, extended day or two day basis. All workshops take place at my private treatment studio in Pimlico and as well as mastering a full sensual massage routine you will also lean about the psychology of intimacy and erotic touch and whey when giving a sensual massage you are not just working on the surface of the body but also at a psychological and emotional level as well as sexual.

I run private workshops for men, women and couples of all sexualities. Select the relevant link below to read more on the workshops on offer.
