What do you love most about your job?

Helping families in their darkest day. The honour of caring for the deceased with gentle dignity and compassion. Making sure the family are taken care of fully and nothing has been left out, and guiding them as they say goodbye.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I didn't like some of the things I saw behind the scenes of the larger companies. I want to offer families a true, caring and honest approach. Give a woman's touch and understanding, nurturing each family with genuine care and giving them more than is currently on offer in the large corporate and bigger name companies.

Why should our clients choose you?

We are a family owned and operated small local Adelaide funeral home. We feel we give families far more attention, care and dignity than some of the larger business oriented companies. Our family looking after your family, with the attention to detail that is sometimes lacking in the busy-ness of large funeral homes, unable to give more due to their numbers and volume. We have much lower overheads and staff, therefore we are bale to give more at a much better and affordable cost. We dont feel families should pay for fancy newest latest greatest hearses, chapels and items that the big funeral homes have, because obviously the families are the ones that pay for these big upgrades. We only care about the family and this is why we went out on our own and now are able to give families a choice that helps them save, helps them spend more time with their loved ones without being charged viewing times, and offering them more in general without the overpricing that goes on in the funeral industry. We are fully transparent and happy to show families what they need to see so they know we are genuine and honest, and charging only what they need, rather than what we think they should purchase.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We comply with all current Covid regulations. Wear masks at all times, providing hand sanitiser and tissues and keep a safe distance between staff and families. We disinfect every surface daily and between families, so there is no cross contamination.
