What do you love most about your job?

I love the challenge of organizing a clients details, formulating a plan for set up and bringing all of the Decór details together on the "day of". Event Planning is a process, challenging and rewarding at the same time- I try to understand my clients vision, their style and fit it all into their budget. At times I have clients who can afford to incorporate every detail they dream of...on the other hand, most of my clients can't. I try to balance (or rein in) my bride by offering affordable design options or solutions while staying within their budget.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started helping friends with their flowers in 1989 while living in Germany. As the years went by and word of mouth spread, I found myself helping more and more brides with their special day. I considered it a hobby (a hobby I loved) and when my son's were born I focused on raising them - I really didn't have extra time to work and be a full time Mom. When my boys were grown I found extra time to refocus my energy on creating a business that brought me satisfaction and joy. I believe that I can offer my professional services and bring that same joy to each and every client who hires me.
