We met Kristie when she was fostering our dog Mr. Magoo. I remember being worried about the home visit because we had a doberman, Candy, who was not friendly with strangers and fearful of dogs she didn't know. We knew Candy would appear "aggressive" and would have her hackles raised and growling to show her unhappiness with Kristie or Magoo in the house. I thought, this lady is never going to let us adopt Magoo (she had already turned down other adoption requests)...she'll think that Candy will hurt him. Kristie came in and we were so impressed with how she was able to win our doberman's trust in a matter of minutes and had the two dogs walking together soon after their meeting. She could tell that Candy was a good dog and just insecure and that I needed to work on my training so that she wouldn't be so insecure. Kristie is calm and confident and just has this gift with working with dogs. She also helped the whole family with how to continue working to get Candy and Magoo acclimated to each other. They ended up being great friends/playmates and we never had any issues that we couldn't handle thanks to Kristie. That was two years ago...she still checks up to see how everything is going!

Chris from Best By Farr is an amazing dog trainer and we spent the last 10 weeks learning so much. Our lives are so different from where we started 2 months ago... we enjoy our walks now, I can run with both dogs for my workouts, they go to their 'place' during our family dinner time and don't jump on our guests who enter the house anymore. We got a rescue, that was a fear based dog, I called Kim, she came to our home, and gave my husband and I several tips on how to train and make the dog a good fit in to our home. The dog is great with people now, we are still in the training session, but she goes to Day Care then , and loves it , comes home tired and exercised. Kim's home is very clean and dog friendly, I feel safe leaving our pup there with her. She is number 1 in our book.

I love watching dogs learn! They are almost always eager to learn new things and the moment the light turns on and they "know" what you are asking them to do, are the best moments of my day. Then to see them enjoy and grow from the training is very rewarding.
I spend most of my time working with dogs in sports, so it only made sense to share my many years of knowledge and help people gain that "a-ha" feeling with their dogs.
I, like most have a busy life and I specialize in finding ways to incorporate dog training into my clients everyday activities and life. It is difficult for many to carve out an "hour" or even a few minutes sometime to "train" their dog. I help them understand how to make it part of their regular routine, so the training gets done, along with the other things life throws at us. Everyone is happier when it is an "activity" and not a chore.
I can teach in person, in home or remote for private or small groups for Conditioning work and Pet training.
Training is done at my place or in a public space; Social distancing is always available. I request anyone who is not feeling well to stay home, and offer make up sessions. If it is 1 on 1 training, we can always do a remote session and still keep everyone on track with their plan.
