What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The keys to keeping a party dancing? The most critical component is the selection of music must align with the guests tastes. Also, it's important to keep the music flowing by carefully sequencing the songs and performing skillful transitions. A good Dj can read the audience and instantly adjust the music to take the mood where it needs to go. Excellent sound and lighting are important too.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I'm an audio, music and technology nerd. I'm also a musician with broad and eclectic tastes. I like to play requests and use those to transition the music to new places.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with audio, lighting and music. There is a lot of hard work that goes into each event, but it's always worth it once the party starts. Plus it's a ton of fun watching people dance!
