the process: 01: THE CONSULTATION We can schedule a free consultation call then I will send you a proposal & quote within 3 business days; if you are happy to move forward you will be sent a contract agreement for you to sign and a 50% non-refundable deposit payment will be required. *The design process will not take place before. 02.INSPIRATION Once you have signed the contract and paid the 50% deposit, I will then send you a questionnaire to complete. I like to get to know as much as possible about what you envision for your invitations and want to know about your style and personality. Finding out who you are as a couple and to learn what ideas, wedding themes and inspiration you’ve been looking at… aka what you’ve been pinning on Pinterest! This part is an invaluable part of the process using this information I can then create a custom client page for you on our website. This will be the place for all of our design discussion notes, inspirational images, and details about your wedding. I will also curate a custom mood board for your invitation suite that will highlight your wedding aesthetic, colours, and overall feel, that we are going for to make sure that everyone is on the same page. 03: DESIGN The fun part! I will start out by providing a rough sketch of our proposed design of your suite, which will include color swatches, font selections, and/or calligraphy samples for your design. Once these initial sketches are approved we will move forward with the detailed design for wedding invitations and stationery. I will then send you digital proofs of your invitation suite, which will include the final artwork, font selections, and also show the paper/envelope selections for your suite. At this time you will be able to provide feedback for any changes that you’d like us to make. (Your custom invitation suite includes three round of revisions to the design. Any revisions beyond this will be incur an additional charge.) Once the final proofs are approved, you will be sent a proof approval form to complete to sign off the digital proofs before we can move into print & production! *The final balance is required before order is sent to print. 04: PRODUCTION Production times vary depending on the printing method that you choose, quantity and the number of items in your invitation suite, and also whether or not I will be providing guest-addressing services. (We can also provide a invitation suite assembly service and/also direct mailing to your guests, I am happy to send an estimate for these additional services if this is something that would make your life easier.) Otherwise, your suite will be carefully packaged and delivered to you with tracking and insurance.
