Folks, We would be delighted to host your private party at our great bar in the centre of Colchester We would not make any charge for venue hire provided you can guarantee more than 50 people and the place would be closed to the public. If you can't guarantee that many we would either just stay open to the public and we can corden of an area for your food etc if necessary, or simply make a charge for venue hire. We would just need a deposit of £100 ASAP to confirm the booking which would be returned on the night provided more than 50 people have attended. However the deposit is not refundable if you cancel the booking within 8 weeks of the date of the party. If you are happy to book, can you pop down to the bar with cash or make a card payment for £100 to confirm your booking ASAP. Alternatively you can make a card payment over the phone. If you would like any food we can provide hot or cold buffet, BBQ or Hog Roast whichever you prefer. We do not allow guests to bring their own food apart from a birthday cake or similar. Menu details are attached. We would be more than happy to put a package together for you and we can be flexible to your needs and budget. Please contact my brother Mark on 07725 346856 to discuss menus and prices. Minimum order is £150. On the day you can decorate the place as you desire from 4pm (But no table confetti or party poppers please!) and bring whatever music you want with you- EG an iPod with play list to play through our music system or a Band or DJ. We have a license til 1am which means last orders at 1am and close at 1.30am. You can start your party anytime from 7pm onwards. Maximum guests would be 100 and we do allow U18s to be present. It's a 30th birthday party for myself, my brother and my sister (as we are triplets). I'm looking for a venue that would cater to family and friends, so would like music to be provided via a DJ or live Band, otherwise offer a good sound system but can play our own music via a smart phone or tablet with a wire or Bluetooth connection. Would like a nice outdoor area with seating and coverage (against the weather) and a comfortable smoking area. A bar with a range of drinks ideally including cocktails. Can arrange my own catering but happy to consider catering offers/ if part of a package. As this is a really special event for us, I'm interested in suggestion or ideas that may be on offer at certain events and happy for event organisers to contact me and discus ideas, deals etc. Thank you
