We recently worked with Periscope Studios Ltd to design and create a digital 3D animation to explain and show how our pipe system works. They have been absolute professionals in assisting us as a business get our products out to the masses. They guided us through the process from start to finish and gave us vital direction and guidance to get the best out of our product and how it would be viewed by others. I look forward to working with them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone requiring a quality animation.

Steph Coathupe is a UK based illustrator living in Manchester with her cat, Noodle. Inspired by her travels, she enjoys journaling and narrative work (particularly to do with food)! Her art incorporates a mix of traditional and digital to create bright, fun illustrations that evoke a sense of retro nostalgia. She has a BA Hons in Illustration from Manchester School of Art, and drinks far too much tea.

I'll illustrate your children's book, magazine, poster, ad campaign or presentation. I received a BA Hons from Lancaster University for Art & Design in 2000, and an MSc from Bradford University in 2002 where I studied animation. For the last 20 years I've worked as an animator and graphic designer and illustrator. For the last 4 years I've turned my hand to illustrating children's books. I illustrate digitally using my iPad Pro, which creates similar results to traditional methods and is more editable.
No two jobs are the same. I've illustrated children's books, exhibition spaces, magazine articles, you name it. I love hearing how happy the customer is with their finished illustration(s).
I'm following my passion - this is something I enjoy, and if you do something you enjoy, you never work a day in your life.
I always stay within the budget and timescale quoted. I've won multiple awards for my own children's books (see accreditations section). I illustrated 'The Ice-cream Sundae Guide to Autism' which became a number one best seller on Amazon. I've created a great variety of illustrations over the years, such as children's museum exhibition spaces, theatre exteriors, children's books, magazines, brochures and once I even illustrated the side of a cargo train. Bark awarded me a 'Certificate of Excellence' badge in 2020 for my customer ratings and response time.
Yes I work remotely. I can email illustrations for small projects, or for larger projects (for instance children's books, I can upload artwork to a development website where each illustration can be checked and approved). If I'm designing the book/brochure myself, I email regular PDFs, firstly showing each illustration in the book/brochure as a sketch to check, then again as they're inked in.
I work fully remotely, so that's about as Covid safe as you can get. I can use Zoom or Skype for a virtual chat if needed, and I'm always on the end of the phone if there are any questions.
