White Rose Funerals provided an exceptional service for my family. There is immense gratitude to the team. I would like this feedback to be practical for people who are choosing a funeral provider. This is why I listed below my family's specific requirements when we were making the choice and the results achieved. This is to show how flexible the White Rose team was to accommodate what we as a family needed. My grand mother's , an orthodox Christian Eastern European, last wish was to be cremated and taken back to her home country. In our culture deceased should be buried as soon as possible. In orthodox religion cremation is not the most welcomed alternative, therefore, the religious ceremony could not take place at the crematorium as our priest would not be able to come there. We needed the provider who could accommodate this ceremony. Timeframe We needed the cremation and the ashes to be available in the shortest possible time. White Rose were appointed late on Thursday, they were able to confirm the cremation date during that original discussion. By Thursday morning of the following week the ceremony/ cremation took place. (Cremation paperwork requires extra signatures and time in comparison to the usual burial otherwise it could be done faster). The team also arranged for the ashes to be ready for the Friday morning. (This timeframe is significantly faster then with other providers as I discovered calling different providers when choosing the service). Needless to say that they provided their premises for our religious ceremony and were very accommodating. Funeral Packages I found that most of the providers were rigid with what is in and outside the package and were unwilling to alter even for additional fee. This is especially true for the large chain providers as they need uniformity across the services. I found that you were pushed to go for a more expensive package including things you would not require or simply may not be able to afford just to get one item that you needed. White Rose have packages but as a family owned business they showed flexibility. This goes to every detail. They were even able to arrange an inscription in Russian on the ashes casket. Price wise, and I know for most people it is an important consideration, the packages are very competitive. I personally found White Rose on a price comparison site by googling. Keeping In Contact The team was keeping in contact and available to discuss or arrange everything. Again they showed flexibility. As an example, the office is in Cardiff, I am based in Newport. We were able to arrange a mutual convenient time to meet in Newport rather than me having to go to Cardiff. There was never a situation when you would find yourself having to stick to their office opening hours. Respect to the Family and the DeceasedI put it as a last but a very important point. Many people probably experienced it when the service is provided and everything is by the book, but you have a feeling that people are doing their job almost mechanically. The most compassionate caring helpful funeral directors we have ever come across. Right from the start they were extremely respectful and took care of everything for us. They even contacted the florist and made sure that the flowers were exactly what we wanted. The funeral itself was understandably difficult for the family but they supported us right throughout the whole process. We don't usually do online recommendations but this company went over and above and we feel it would only be right to explain to others that this is without any shadow of doubt the funeral directors you should use at your most difficult time. We would also like to mention that they are part of the Fair Funerals scheme which means that the prices they charge are very reasonable and fair for both parties. First I would like to say how fantastic this company is, the way they dealt with the service through out the loss of my nan, they were very professional, caring and offered any support you needed, even walking infront of my nan's hurst in top hat and tails and Cain while we left her rd of resident something that I havnt seen for a long time. .

Ahmed came almost straight away when we called and adviced and guided our family all the way to the burial and also helped and guided our family with all the paperworks.
