What do you love most about your job?
We love performing! And we love to make our client's events a unique and special occasion. It's always a privilege to be a part of something special.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Weddington Strings are made up of great musicians and great friends, who have all been playing together in the industry for over 20 years. So it was only right that we got together to start something special!
Why should our clients choose you?
We are Kent's premiere string ensemble, based in Canterbury and are exclusive suppliers for Preston Court & Wilderness Weddings, as well as regular suppliers for Old Kent Barn, Winter's Barn, Cooling Castle, Hempstead House and Odo's Barn.
We pride ourselves on tailoring our performance uniquely to your occasion.
So we have a vast selection of repertoire for you to choose from, from Classical and Jazz, to Rock & pop, TV & Film and songs from the West End. You can view a selection on our website.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have taken steps to ensure that both our clients and our team are safe. So we have a Covid 19 Policy, which you can view on our website.
Weddington String Trio
The Weddington String Trio is a great choice for smaller venues.
We have repertoire to suit all tastes, from Classical to Rock & Pop for weddings and parties. Perfect for a more intimate gathering.
We can also arrange or source anything you like, if it's not already in our repertoire. Just ask!

Our trio requires a space 2m x 2m.
We don’t usually require amplification as a trio, as the events we perform for are smaller affairs.

Our minimum booking time is up to 2 hours playing.

Weddington Quartet
The Weddington String Quartet is our most popular choice for larger weddings and events.
With a huge range of repertoire across all genres, the string quartet can adapt to any style you choose.
We also have a great team of professional arrangers, so if we don't have the tune you're after, we can source it or arrange it too. Just ask!
*requires extra fee.
Our quartet requires a 2m x 3m space to perform, and if playing outside we will require full cover from the sun or rain.
We are all acoustic so we don’t require extra amplification. However if your event is particularly large, eg. a festival, then please get in touch and we can make arrangements for amplification.
Our minimum booking time is up to 2 hours playing.
String Quartet prices start from £650.
