A fantastic community led by Lorenzo. I cant speak more highly of wave. I came in as a complete beginner and the whole process of learning BJJ and making me feel welcome was great.

I had my first ever Jiu-Jitsu experience today and I had an incredible time! All my anxieties were immediately put to rest upon meeting Lorenzo and the all the other members, a fantastic group of people. Lorenzo is kind, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. I went here on Tuesday night beginner class December 12. Lorenzo was very friendly and informative. About Wave academy. The area looked clean and well kept. The mats where in good condition and clean. It was very nice to have the mirrors on the wall also. It was a dance studio before he changed it into a BJJ school. Lorenzo is very informative in his approach. He explains the technique very well. By showing and by explanation. He allows questions also. Very patient with his students. He would answer all questions. I observe that while we where practicing the technique. He would go around and adjust what he saw you doing wrong. Also worth mentioning was the class size, was not over crowded for the mat area. Which was a huge problem with my old academy. I have to say that I really enjoyed my class here. He offers a free class. Wave has a few other classes also. Wrestling, Muay Thia, wave fit, Pilates and women’s only classes. If you are looking for something new. I would strongly recommend Wave to try Lorenzo academy. More...

Love these guys. I am no athlete but the instructors put me totally at ease and I felt really confident and at home. The venue is clean and my training partners are a lovely bunch. Can't recommend them enough :-)
