I feel compelled to write this review for Vanesa - a genuine artist with a unique warmth that always makes seeing her a joy. No matter what the occasion, she has a gift for creating looks that suit my features whether it’s a work black tie event, a family party or an indian wedding. Having been to other MUA over the last 10 years (who have also been great), the standout quality of Vanessa is her talent for accentuating your individual beauty, rather than simply replicating standard styles. She’s not arrogant or dismissive of you which sadly has been my experience with a few bad eggs in the industry. I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants to look amazing. I introduced her to my sisters and they are sold (slash obsessed to the extent we throw her name around like she is one of the cousins). I did a few make up classes with her as part of my “Brenda needs to get her groove back” phase of life and she has honestly contributed to me feeling beautiful and confident both with and without makeup. As a professional singer/actor that has worked extensively in London West End theatre, I was very impressed with Vanessa’s makeup. While I was sound checking at an event, she did the makeup for the host of the party which was flawless and then as guests arrived Vanessa created some amazing face paintings for the adults and children. In between my performance Vanessa face painted me into a tiger, I looked better than King Mufasa a character from the Lion King. Vanessa is amazing! Booked a one to one as I’ve never really been able to do make up before and since turning 40 I’ve really struggled with applying it correctly.
