We found Peter of T & CC by searching the web for a bathroom fitter and we are delighted that we did. From the beginning Peter lead us through the complete process of selection, supply & fitting of the shower room furniture avoiding the hidden pitfalls along the way, which resulted in an almost seamless transformation of our dated bathroom into a modern shower room of which we are delighted.
Peter also took on the task of fitting an on-suite toilet in our second bedroom, again resulting in an excellent job which is better than we had hoped for.

Having moved from London to Suffolk I didn’t know any local tradespeople. Following an internet search I found Peter at TCC and arranged for a quotation to fit a new first floor shower room with basin and WC. I’m not the most practical of people but Peter advised me on the options in simple laypersons terms and recommended a supplier (Plumbcity) for the new fittings. Once I had chosen what I wanted he provided a detailed quotation and I agreed to proceed. Peter arranged for the items to be ordered and delivered with payment for these due just prior to receipt. He also arranged hire of a skip (for all of the old fittings, etc.) and took control of managing everything. Once on the job he turned up promptly every day as promised and worked steadily to complete the job within the timescale we had agreed. Unlike some other builders he required stage payments after each section of the job had been completed (so no parting with money before any work is done). The new shower room looks great and I was so pleased with it that I later asked Peter to quote for a complete refit of our kitchen. Now all complete, this too has been a great success, all of our neighbours love the new layout, which Peter devised with our input. Great company and delivered what I wanted to a high standard

Peter is an excellent all-around tradesman with really good attention to detail, essential in order to get a high quality finished product. From the outset of my dealings with him he has been punctual and professional. He provided a detailed quotation for proposed work at the outset and (except for any changes I requested during the job) honoured this price. Unlike some other builders he did not insist on upfront payment, instead payment was made only as and when goods were ordered and works were completed. Before and during the job Peter came up with creative ideas to improve the layout, design and overall finish of the end product. On the rare occasions when Peter was not able to carry out a element of the works himself (electrics / plastering) he sourced trusted tradespeople he had worked with previously so that everything ran smoothly.
The work he carried out for me was stripping out an existing first floor bathroom and installing new hand basin / wc and digital shower. When the existing bathroom was stripped out it was clear that running the new pipe work necessary would present some challenges. Peter put his thinking cap on and overnight came up with a workable solution, obtained the necessary parts and next day got on with fitting and testing them, putting my mind at rest. It all looks great and works really well now!
I intend to ask Peter to quote for further works in future and have no hesitation in recommending him.
