What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Great composition, understanding light, being in the right place at the right time, the beauty of the moment.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the project? What style of images are you looking for? How many hours would you like the shoot to be? How many images are you hoping to receive? Any other requirements or expectations?
What do you love most about your job?
It's always changing, the subjects are never the same, I work freelance so I can choose which shoots I wish to do. I am constantly seeing the beauty in things through my lens.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I became passionate about macro and landscape photography and noticed that my photos were appreciated by others. This gave me the confidence to start small and expand into several other areas of photography.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am highly experienced in several areas of photography. I have shot over 200 weddings, 100s of events and my images appear in online photo libraries like Gamma Rapho, Getty and others. My images appear in several books and publications. I have a friendly, unassuming, discrete approach to each shoot and I like to make my clients feel relaxed and at ease as I work.

I can provide high resolution digital images remotely by providing a link for download at your convenience.
I also teach photography online specialising in composition, technique and lighting as well as popular software like Photoshop and Lightroom.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
There is very little direct contact with clients as photographs are mostly taken from a distance. I have no issue with wearing a mask when required and I like to maintain good hygiene and general common sense at all times.
Weddings
Packages from 1 to 8 hours or all day for longer weddings.
Hours can be spread out for example during meals there is quite often there is no photography required.
Photos are provided in high resolution digital format free of copyright. Each image is carefully selected and edited to ensure the highest quality.
Lifestyle
This can be family or couples photos in a relaxed setting either indoors or in a great outdoor location of your choice.
It can include friends or groups of people.
I provide natural photos that capture real personalities and the mood of the day without any interference from the photographer.
Discretion is top priority.
Events
This includes birthday parties, office events, conferences, excursions, family celebrations, friends getting together and any social occasion.
With a photojournalistic style, I quickly fit in and become easily forgotten, taking images discretely without interfering on the occasion. The result are images that capture the essence of the day and the honest emotions of the people attending.
Property and land
Professional architectural photos of interiors and exteriors of buildings with accurate colour and lighting.
I work directly with airbnb, booking, architects and property owners to produce high quality images that are used for websites and publications.
Food photography
I work directly with restaurants, delivery companies and website designers to produce luscious images of food looking its very best with perfect lighting, detail, sharpness, texture and colour rendition.
This can be included with property photography as a half or full day package.
Portraits
I offer outdoor portraits in a natural setting with natural light. I prefer this type of photography as it feels more spontaneous and the light is softer on the skin.
French Language Tuition
Friendly relaxed lessons tailored to your requirements, whether going on holiday or trying to pass an exam at School or University. My focus is on using conversational skills to improve your confidence and allow the language to grow organically rather than focusing entirely on grammar.
French Translation and interpretation
All documents, texts (non-legal), books can be translated as well as live interpretation with clients that speak either english or french.
