What do you love most about your job?
The freedom to be my own boss and explore my art in various directions to create a multi-disciplined studio.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The inspiration began when I was a child growing up in the 1970s as my father, who started his career in the 1950s, was working from home as a freelance commercial artist. So it seemed natural to follow him into the same trade and when I left school in 1986, I went to work for my father and over the next five years learned all the varied disciplines of hand-drawn illustration (colour, scraper board, pen & ink etc), hand-lettering (signwriting and calligraphy) as well as fine art paintings. I sold my first painting at the age of thirteen when I was an air-cadet; it was a watercolour of a jet aircraft taking off and thus my aviation/military/maritime art took-off and this is something I have specialised in since, amongst other commercial projects such as art for interior design and furnishing settings.
Why should our clients choose you?
Over the last thirty years I have built up the experience and knowledge to accept a varied range of work and deliver on time.
