Continuous rest, some lasy walks around the grounds, eating delicious foods and sitting by the fire places (they have them everywhere ☺️). .. Lovely friendly staff... so we're both feeling at home in this peaceful place ☺️ ... Not to mention that most people only book for a night or two so we're now feeling part of the family here, all fully relaxed including the resident castle cat We have been coming for the past 6 years and will be retuning again later this year. We used Thornbury Castle for our August bank holiday wedding, Charlotte Rhodes the Co-Ordinator is one of the loveliest people you could meet and did a sterling job. Nothing was too much trouble and across our various communications via email and in person she put me at ease and gave me all the answers to my questions. No hidden fees with a relaxed and flexible approach we could have the day exactly as we wanted. All our guests were so impressed with the staff, they were friendly and courteous throughout. Would recommend to anyone looking for this type of venue - when searching in the south east area what you get for the cost is extremely competitive to beat. Food during the wedding and breakfast the next morning was superb, the rooms are of course beautiful, and the grounds are impeccably well kept. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back for our complimentary stay on our anniversary! More...

I’ll forever cherish my time at this historic castle. I can’t think of a single thing that could have made my stay more amazing than it was. Absolutely stunning Castle Take a trip back to Tudor times and come and stay in this beautiful castle The Dukes Bedchamber is a must to stay in with its gorgeous four poster bed Dine in style and experience the most delicious food and wine I will be returning there’s nothing negative to mention my stay was wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful
