The BEST Wedding Venue and staff! 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ We had a look online at lots of different venues and The Stanwick Hotel really stood out to us. We always wanted an outdoor ‘American style’ wedding and we just fell in love with the Stanwick Hotels garden pavilion. The Wedding package prices were very competitive when compared to other similar venues. Our chosen package included many extras such as the in-house DJ, lovely flowers by Pinks Florists for the table centre pieces, fairy lights and a bridal and groom room for the night of the wedding. The hotel was a perfect location for us and was the right size for our wedding as we had around 70 guests in the day and 100 in the evening. As soon as we had booked our wedding, Hayley was superb. We were emailing back and forth every week for a year until our big day. We asked so many questions and Hayley was always quick to respond and her manner gave us confidence in our choice of venue, she made sure the arrangements were fun and stress free. On the eve of the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids stayed in the old house. We’d recommend that if you do this, book all of the rooms in this building, so that on the morning of the wedding, you can use the full facility without other guests seeing you in your PJ’s. The rooms were all modern, clean and comfortable. Our wedding day was on the 27th June 2019 at The Stanwick Hotel and it was better than we could have ever imagined. The weather was amazing and the ceremony took place in the outside pavilion. The sun shone, everywhere was beautifully decorated, it was a truly magical ceremony. Hayley and the rest of her team had meticulously prepared everything for us, the decorations, the organisation and timing, receipt of the cake from Amelia Rose Cake Studio and favour arrangements for the guests. Everything was faultlessly perfect. The catering was also absolutely amazing. We chose a delicious Tomato and Red Pepper Soup as the starter, a Roast Chicken Dinner for mains and Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert. The food was piping hot, plentiful and really well executed to all guests efficiently. Many guests commented afterwards how good they thought the food was. For the evening food buffet, we chose Bacon and Sausage baps with chunky chips which everyone loved! We loved getting married at this venue, the staff were so friendly and this made our day so special for us. We cannot recommend The Stanwick Hotel, Hayley and her team highly enough. Perfect venue for weddings and other functions. Sadly the rooms are not equipped to cope with hot weather. This is a practical hotel so don't look for luxuries! Where do I begin with this amazing venue. It was so lovely working with Hayley in the lead up to the wedding, was always willing to listen and talk through ideas, always around to answer any queries. I always knew the planning was under control. On the actual day the weather was so changeable, resulting in us having to move to plan B. The day ran so smoothly and anything we asked for was never too much trouble. All the staff throughout the hotel were amazing and I knew we were in good hands with Marie. My husband and I held our wedding reception at The Stanwick Hotel in May; words cannot describe how perfect it was ❤️ Hayley was the dream organiser, Mandy was so helpful with additional bookings, Marie was amazing on the day, ALL the staff are wonderful and everyone went out of their way to make sure all went well. Our biggest compliment was how delicious the food was and how hard the team worked to make sure it was what we wanted; our whole menu was vegan and it was truly stunning. The canapés were going literally as soon as it came out the kitchen, the wedding breakfast was a hit, and the ciabatta pizzas in the evening went so quickly. In addition to the wedding day, we had afternoon tea the day before as a chance to get together with guests travelling, and a lovely big buffet breakfast the day after. Thank you for letting us make Stanwick Hotel our home for 3 days. We're so glad we only live around the corner so that we can keep on coming back and reminiscing on how magnificent you all made our special day ☺️ P.S. This beautiful location was the venue for our wedding back in May. We had looked at many venues across the region prior to visiting The Stanwick Hotel. None came close however to giving us that special feeling like Stanwick did. Hayley Orson was out of this world in helping us create, organise and stage our wedding. Hayley catered for our individual needs and she was a massive part of making our most special day so magical. We can't thank her enough. Further to this, every member of staff that contributed to organising and hosting our day was magnificent and we couldn't fault them. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we have had endless amounts of complimentary comments on the venue. We will certainly be recommending The Stanwick Hotel to everyone. Wonderful Hotel made even more special by the staff, everyone there is helpful and so very friendly. We had our 30th Anniversary celebrations here and it was made so special by Hayley and all the staff. We had the photo booth by Stuart at Orson Events and their own disco with Jem, both were superb, music was great and we’ll be looking at the high quality shots from the booth for many years to come.
