We had the pleasure of having the Spectrum play at our wedding Sunday August bank holiday 2019. What an amazing band! Very professional and very friendly. They absolutely rocked our evening. The dance floor was full at all times. One of the best wedding arrangement decisions made and well worth the money. James was really good at staying in touch with us every step of the way and even arranged to play our first dance (a jive) live for us. Back in 2018 The Spectrum ended Staffordshire’s Guiding international week camp with a huge party... over 1500 guides and leaders dancing and singing along flashing lights and glow sticks at the ready. Amazing music and set, group bunch of guys who really got into the spirit of what we wanted to achieve at our closing party.. thank you so much, would defiantly recommend to anyone who is looking for a band for any occasion. The Spectrum is a fantastic band, who totally rocked! We were looking for a band who understands that music and 'the party' is a huge aspect of a wedding and we weren't disappointed. From the first interactions with James we knew we were in sync. We WhatsApp'd a lot in the lead up and also FaceTimed to go through the flow from our first dance, to a mini set, to the DJ, to the main set and talk about our choices of music. The band understood the technical requirements from our venue and were able to take that responsibility from us, working with them directly which was a huge help. The band played our wedding in May and were a pleasure to deal with. We booked them early in our planning after seeing the energy in their videos and we were not disappointed! We wanted lots of great music and plenty of people dancing and that's exactly what we got. James is very easy to communicate with and always responds promptly. We discussed what music we like as a couple and all suggestions were incorporated. We booked The Spectrum to play at our wedding reception at Hogarths Solihull, and I couldn’t have been happier with our band choice! From the first email you can see how professional and enthusiastic the band are, as James replies so promptly giving you all the information you need to know. Having a DJ alongside is amazing as the music never stops and the dancing can continue all night! Which was exactly what I did!! My feet hurt for days afterwards so I know it was a good night! The music was so varied that there was something for everyone to enjoy - loads of our guests commented on how great you all sounded, even the most well known songs sounded so authentic. My 5 yo was captivated by the band all night and James made such a lovely gesture of coming up to him at the end of the night to talk to him and give him our song list - such a nice thing to do! I am so SO glad we chose you guys to do our evening entertainment. From the first point of contact, to the lovely phone call with James a few nights before the wedding to give us a quick lowdown, to the actual night. . everything was perfect. You followed the flow of the crowd & knew exactly what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor. You even let my karaoke loving husband sing a song with you, which I know he loved! Book this band ,believe me,book this band !We had such a brilliant night when The Spectrum played at our daughter’s wedding.
