Susan and her team are absolute amazing and I can not recommend them enough! I met Susan at a wedding fayre and booked an appointment with her the following week. From the short conversation I had with her at the wedding fayre about previous dresses I had tried on and what I wanted Susan had two dresses waiting for me. They were both perfect and exactly what I wanted! From choosing the dress to the wedding it was two years as the wedding had been delayed due to covid. The dress was made to my original measurements but I had since lost 4 stone. For reference it was 8 inches too big everywhere and had to be remade completely! By my next visit a few weeks later my dress fit perfectly! I genuinely can’t thank Bridal Apparel enough for everything they’ve done. They made everything so easy and stress free through out and made myself and family feel so welcome and looked after on every visit. I even bought my wedding jewellery and hired my vail from here too! I visited four shops previously and everyone was very different. There isn’t rails and rails of dresses which can sometimes be very overwhelming whereas this experience was so much more individual. I would definitely recommend Bridal Apparel! More...

I won a competition with Bridal Apparel at a wedding fair; I won a free veil and dress alterations if I purchased my dress from them. I was a bit skeptical at first as I had never heard of them before but I had nothing to loose and so I went along to my appointment. The shop is a bit different to other dress shops I had been to, there weren’t endless dresses on a rail that you have to pick from (which can be overwhelming). I went to the appointment with my mum and mother in law - we took our shoes off as requested and went upstairs to sit with Susan. Susan sat and had a detailed chat with me about my vision, my venue, colour scheme etc and tried to understand exactly what I wanted from my day and my dress. I was in a position where I knew exactly what dress I wanted - I just needed to find it. The first dress I tried on was not the right dress for me, I felt comfortable enough to be honest about this with Susan and we quickly took it off. We had another chat and then came dress number 2…. it was my dress!! Susan had completely read my mind! I lost 2.5 stone between purchasing my dress and my wedding day - Susan was happy to do the extra appointments I needed to alter my dress and ensure it fit perfectly. She was so supportive. 3 weeks before my wedding date, COVID came along and my wedding date got cancelled. In the end I had to move my date 3 times. Susan was super supportive throughout the whole period reassuring me at each step that my dress was ready and waiting for me. I really felt like Susan and her team actually cared about me and my wedding as a whole. I remember her asking me two weeks before the wedding if had any worries.
