Not the prettiest building in Lincoln from the outside but fantastic location opposite the Cathedral.
Nice clean room with a fantastic view.
Good choice at breakfast with fresh Fruit, juices, cereals, full English selection (great sausages) and even a continental type cheese and cooked meat selection.
Fantastic staff who worked very hard and made the stay a pleasant one.
Ample, secure parking with a charge of £5 for the 2 nights we stayed which considering it's location, wasn't bad at all.
All in all a very nice and well run hotel.

We've just got back from 5 days at the Lincoln Hotel, and we would thoroughly recommend it. The staff were very very pleasant, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent, and had a wide variety of food on offer. The towels were changed every day, and the room was clean and comfortable. More...

Magnificent retro hotel. Rooms comfortable with all essential tea, coffee facilities. Hairdryer a bit dodgy but worked. Bar at main reception was limited . Reception was helpful. Car parking was not free but not too expensive. More...

I stayed at the Lincoln Hotel in a deluxe room for 5 nights with work. The hotel has a dated feel, similar to that of the "modern" feel of the hotel at the very beginning of The Grand Budapest Hotel - a bit 70s and a bit art deco.

The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had a small balcony which overlooked Lincoln Cathedral.

The fitness suite is one of the strangest "gyms" I've ever been in and is simply a collection of machines in a room. Gets the job done though if you're committed to raising your heart rate whilst away.

Right at the top of the city and within walking distance of castle and cathedral. Pleasant staff, small room but fit for purpose. ..no complaints. There are bigger rooms but we were only there for one night so it was fine. Breakfast was lovely but hot food not replenished quickly enough when it ran out. Lovely field mushrooms instead of sliced, which were very tasty. Woukd stay there again. More...

It's always a pleasure booking into The Lincoln Hotel. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

The location is amazing with the dinning room looking out onto the amazing Cathedral so giving very special views.

The rooms are always tidy and clean with a nice selection of teas etc.

Breakfast is really good with a great selection of good quality produce.

Well worth a visit.

Great hotel with friendly and polite staff. While the 1960 exterior looks dated the interior decor is light clean and contemporary.

Breakfast over looking the cathedral was tasty and plentiful. My room had plenty of tea making facilities.

A key feature of this hotel is it being located directly behind the cathedral making it just a short 5 mins walk from top of steep hill and the castle.

Lovely and friendly. Clean and welcoming. Beds very comfortable and foods good except the green room, don't go there if your hungry and ask for vegetables as extra as you don't actually get them with your meal! ! In all the meal was expensive for so little!! ... More...

Rooms nice and clean and looked newly decorated. Had a few minor issues with the room but these were sorted out straight away so no problems there. Breakfast had a good selection and was checked on regularly. Hotel is in good proximity to the cathedral and city centre. Great overall. More...
