Room was small and cold and unfortunately it was right next to the extractor fan from the kitchen which was on until late and started early. We had a wonderful experience at The Green Dragon on Friday 22 April 2022. We were invited to the launch of their new restaurant menu, and it was perfect. The whole venue had a real buzz, everyone was happy, and the staff were all super attentive. Fab cocktails in the Offa Bar, and our food was delicious. We will definitely be back, and looking forward to our afternoon tea experience too. To say it's been hard for hospitality businesses the last couple of years is an understatement. I went to the Green Dragon to celebrate New Year’s Eve with my husband, son and daughter-in-law. The service, food and entertainment were all fantastic! Staff were attentive and extremely helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. We had such a fabulous evening we will definitely be visiting again. We came here tonight for cocktails and found the cocktail bar closed but the lounge bar was offering cocktails so we decided to stay. Really disappointed we had to wait a long time to very poor cocktails at nearly £10 each. Part of our order was wrong and we then had to wait again. Felt so sorry for the 2 young people behind the bar as it was so busy in there and they couldn’t keep up with the orders. If you can’t have the cocktail bar open then don’t do cocktails as they really were awful and I certainly won’t rush to go back.
