What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired by my involvement in the arts. After playing leading roles around the world including at The National Theatre I wanted to set off on my own path but to do that I had to create something that would support my independence. I started life at 18 as a window-cleaner and had a business at 20 but there was something missing so I drifted into the arts and loved very minute discovering great works of art that spoke to me at a much deeper level than just the pursuit of money could ever do. I have founded a theatre, The Playground Theatre, and have hosted artists such as Brian Cox and Stephen Berkoff. We are closed now but will be back soon.

The services we offer in the cleaning sphere are not remote as they are physical activities that occur in offices, homes etc.

All our staff wear PPE and some of our staff have already received vaccination
