Alex in BrightonAbsolutely love coming to these classes. Started out as something to help with back pain and it has been great for that, but it has also been great fun. My son and now my daughter also come to the classes and they both love them too. Rob makes sure the right balance of fun and learning is included in each class. More...

Martial Arts has given my wife so much more confidence. I am very proud of her black belt achievement.

I have been attending classes here for 6 years with me children. Rob, the instructor, manages the class extremely well, keeping it friendly with the younger children, but pushing the adults and young adults to achieve. It's an excellent way to learn self defence, de-stress and keep fit. Highly recommend it. More...

Robert runs a very supportive, friendly and fun martial art fitness class, suitable for all ages and abilities. We work together and teach each other. No Lyra needed here or rolling around the floor! Uniforms are comfortable to wear. Classes are easy and who doesn't enjoy being told they are doing it well! The reward of achieving a new belt every couple of months makes you feel very proud and raises confidence. Once you are in the routine of coming to class it becomes part of your life. This is not a money making class, Robert enjoys teaching. Or class is one big happy family and anyone can join, come and find out. More...

Robert is an excellent instructor with lots of patience. I really enjoy my Choi classes, its now part of my life. It’s not just an exercise class for ‘undoing’ those shoulder knots and back pain! Punching and kicking is a excellent stress relieve, with that added bonus of keeping fit at the same time. Choi also gives me lots of confidence, and praise I don’t get anywhere else. Grading is fun and rewarding and sets achievable short and long term goals. Class is a very friendly place and I have made lots of new friends. Our chief, Mr Tanswell is very understanding of everyone’s physical differences or moans. More...

I've been learning Choi Kwang Do in Brighton for about 2 years now and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get fit and learn practical self defence skills in a friendly environment. All ages are welcome as my 10 year old daughter is does it too. The instructors are excellent and bring a wealth of experience to the school while being committed to helping you achieve your goals and have fun along the way. Choi heightens your confidence, focuses your mind and allows you to take control of situations in a positive way. You'll soon begin to feel the benefits from this great martial art. More...
