Great service, varied lunch menu in lovely surroundings followed by an entertaining afternoon listening to The wonderful jazz quintet The Sellar brothers in the basement “Calpone”, which had a cozy welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

Must recommend The Caird for a meal, food was brilliant and the staff were very helpful. Visited last night and had a pre-booked table outdoors for 4-6pm. Went outside and staff were clearly busy, waited to see if anyone was going to check us in or show us a tae - made our way to an empty table after 5 minutes. At 4.30, we were still waiting for someone to take our order - I had to get up and look for a member of staff to get our food/drink orders. Once ordered, drinks arrived at 4.50 and food at 5pm. Food was tasty, couldn't fault it. When we were looking to pay our bill,again no staff around. Went indoors to find someone and when the bill arrived, it was completely wrong, with other people's orders on it. The waitress asked us if we could total our own bill using calculators.
