Interesting venue to kill an hour or so on a late summer evening although took some finding. No cask ale but reasonable bottled choices. Wasn't busy at all when we boarded (around 930pm) but gave for a nice chilled vibe. Licensee has plenty of interesting and amusing anecdotes of his time running the bar. Plenty of board games to play and dog friendly too. It deserves to be a lively and popular choice on a sunny Summer Bank Holiday. Hope it manages to survive the final Summer months and gets to re-open next year. A great addition to the Bath bar scene. More...
