I've attended two Tastevin events so far and fully intend to book for more! The first was a fabulous post-Christmas mince pie and wine pairing evening at the Swan Hotel in Wells and the second was a tour around Bristol, with history highlights from Bristol's wine history and an amazing cheese and wine pairing.
Deniz is knowledgeable and fun -- highly recommend you book for a public event.
I'm also very tempted by his private events where he will come to your gathering and provide a bespoke wine-themed event to your specifications.
