Dear Sue, Just dropping you a line to reiterate what I told you in passing on saturday: the food at our wedding was excellent, and all of our guests were both impressed, and full! We really enjoyed all of the food, canapes, the wedding breakfast, and the very welcome bacon/sausauge barms in the evening. To add to this, the staff were excellent, even offering to serve vegetables which added a classy touch. We would not hesitate to recommend Sue Le Bonne catering to friends and family in the future and we look forward to opportunities to avail of your services again. We had our wedding on 14th July at Sandhole Oak Barns in Congleton and were offered the choice of two caterers. We were swaying towards the other prior to our tasting with Sue and the team when everything changed. Sue has put together an incredible group of talented people each focussed on giving you that extra 10%. Natalie, our coordinator, was exceptional. Talk about going the extra mile, no request was too much. Ben the chef was amazing, we spent several sessions talking to him about the style of the wedding, the options for the food and the presentation. On the day he was excited to see how his creation went down and I must admit it was a resounding success. From start to finish it was a joy to work with the team and we would highly recommend them for the attention to detail, focus on you as a couple and the support they offer on such a wide range of elements. The Sue Le Bonne team catered for our wedding on the 31st of March 2018 at the Oak Tree of Peover. From the tasting sessions to the phone calls made to reassure us and check everything was all going smooth; the service was excellent. Sue had such lovely ideas and really helped us plan our wedding food. We really wanted our wedding food to be special and Sue and the team perfectly did that. Total praise for the chef who's passion shines through and delicious food made our guests very happy. In particular I would like to make a special mention to the vegetarian options that were provided, I wanted my veggie guests to have tasty food and not be an afterthought. The pumpkin pie was the best pie my veggie friend Shannah had ever had! The are so many more tasty things to mention but I can't name it all. And finally I would like to make a final thankyou for Laura, the master of ceremony (Which you don't get with other caterers) who held my hand and calmed me down before I walked down the aisle and dealt with a crying Dad too. Hi this is a review of the pre-wedding services provided by Sue and Team. We found Sue to be very personable, welcoming and accomodating to our requests and ideas for menus. We were invited, including my mother, to a tasting whereby we were able to sample multiple options. Ben, her head chef, is very passionate and he certainly creates lovely tasting, well presented food. We bumped into him some weeks later at a wedding fair and he remembered us as well as asking us which deserts we were choosing, which emphasises the personal touch that we feel you wouldnt get with other large catering firms. Meet Sue and the team a couple of times now regarding catering our wedding next year. Their friendly and professional approach is what drew us in, compared to some other frosty competition we briefly dealt with it was obvious Sue and her team were the perfect fit for us. Out of all the wedding tasks to be done, picking Sue Le Bonne as our caterers was a no brainer. After hosting us at her own home to sample the amazing menu suggestions there was never any question she and her team were the ones for us. We were honoured to taste the food when photographing a wedding, all the staff were so lovely but the food was absolutely exceptional. We have eaten at many many venues and nothing comes close. Sue Le Bonne Catering did our wedding at Sandhole this summer and were absolutely incredible! The food was out of this world, it actually tasted better than the taster sessions we had. We had so many comments from family and friends about the delicious food and also the amazing service. Everyone had a smile and were warm and welcoming to all of the guests. They realised who was a veggie and made sure they took the veggie canopies over and little touches like this made the day great. Sue and Natalie also ran the whole day so smoothly. We had our tasting yesterday with Sue Le Bonne and her team at her beautiful home in Mobberley. Natalie the planner was amazing and gave us lots of ideas for not only the food but the whole wedding. Ben, the chef, was very friendly and down to earth and the food he served us was delicious. Sue has been extremely helpful from the word go and I know that we will be able to enjoy our big day and not have to worry about anything as the team are on the ball and extremely efficient. Sue Le Bonne did the catering for our wedding at Owen House Wedding Barn and the food and cake were incredible. Sue and her team went above and beyond and I couldn't recommend them highly enough if I tried. The food was delicious and was presented beautifully. Sue and her team provided an exceptional service for my daughter Hannah and son in law Ricks wedding at Sand Hole Oak Barn a couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious and the guests were delighted that they had a choice of starter, main and desert. We did not worry at all beforehand how the day would go as we already had confidence in Sue and her team. On the day nothing was too much trouble. We cannot thank Sue and her team enough for making sure our wedding ran so professionally. From the start, Sue went above and beyond to ensure that she helped us plan every fine detail. All of her recommendations including the pianist, singer and magician were all impeccable and our guests were absolutley blown away by the quality of service. We booked Sue and her fantastic team to cater at our Wedding in June at Sandhole Oak Barn We most importantly loved the personal touch we received. Talking on the phone and meeting several times. The food tasting was a real hit. We met the chef Ben who spoke to us in detail regarding the menu. Sue and team were amazing from day 1. We got married in France but were keen to create a unique party experience for our friends and family when we got home. The tasting experience was amazing in itself, and the choice of food matched us perfectly, with sue going over and above to make suggestions in line with our theme. From start to finish, Sue and team were very professional and helpful throughout the whole organisation if our perfect day. We got married Sunday 22 May in Sandhole Oak Barn and there were empty plates all round. Everybody commented on how delicious the lamb was, and I have to agree, it was melt in the mouth delicious. Sue le Bonne catering have been superb and I am delighted that we have Sue and her team on hand to help us with our wedding day. Since our first tasting in July, we have been blown away by the quality of the food and the service so far. We have just recently finalised our food choices and have booked and contacted recommended vendors through Sue after she hosted a lovely open day at her home. You will definitely be looked after from start to finish when you book with Sue. Ben makes the most amazing food (especially his sticky toffee pudding) and lovely Natalie is a fountain of ideas and truly dedicates herself to ensuring that your day is perfect. All the staff we have met at open days and events have been well presented and very polite; exactly as you would want at your wedding. We have just returned from our initial meeting with Sue at her home in Mobberley. We couldn't have wished for a more warm, welcoming and friendly person to have greeted us. When discussing our menu she was professional in her manner yet showed true care and consideration that our day should be about us as couple. I have booked my wedding for May 2013, and after reading a mixed review was naturally worried and a bit anxious that the catering of my wedding would go well, as I feel the food is one of the most important parts of the day for some guests! I contacted my venue along with Sue Le Bonne and immediately my fears were settled, I found Sue Le Bonne to be very professional, attentive and above all her food was fantastic. I no longer have any fears for my wedding day and would happily recommend Sue Le Bonne To any couple looking for a wedding caterer. I'm not an employee of Sue Le Bonne or was asked to leave this review, I just felt like there would be other people in my position and I wanted to re-assure them.Everyone is entitled to their opinion and review and I'm sorry if somebody's day didn't go 100% to plan but I was assured by 2 different people that this was a one-off out of over 300 catered weddings a year, over 30 years!
