Streetwise Defence offers self defence classes and online courses for individuals, businesses, schools, colleges, universities and community groups.

Our self defence classes for people of all genders and ages are available UK-wide.

We believe that self defence is an essential life skill that everyone needs to keep themselves and their families safe.

Our education isn’t about learning martial arts, it’s about being ‘switched on’ to the potential threats you may face and looking at how to avoid them.

So, if you do find yourself in a dangerous situation and you have to defend yourself, you’ll be prepared with simple but effective self defence techniques.

Dene Josham is your course instructor. He has over 20 years of experience, including bodyguarding celebrities such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, providing security in hostile environments such as Iraq and Libya, plus time in the Royal Marines.

Streetwise Defence is committed to the safety of the people we train. We are trauma-informed and believe that everyone has the right to feel safe, both emotionally and physically.
