The company was initially thorough and courteous when quoting, assuring us that they had considered our needs. The job was done with frequent checks carried out on workmanship, tidiness and courtesy of the work force.
Invoicing was made at agreed intervals and the final check was done with digital photos informing the decisions on extras. The scaffolding was removed promptly and carefully with no flowers and only one paving tile damaged in the process. This has been agreed to be repaired without compromise. We would strongly recommend this company for the repairs of roof and ancillary fixings.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Most people are applicable to build a loft conversion on their property. As a generalisation you build upto 60 square metres on your property with NO planning permission. As long you do not already have an extension built on your property.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
First stage. Build regs and Assessment, checking of the roof joists, plumming and electrics. Once a plan has been calculated then you can start work.
Second stage is scaffolding. Generally a temporary roof scaffolding is required to allow to strip the roof/build dormer.(takes 2 to 3 days)
Third stage is stripping of the roof. And cutting the roof in. This can vary in time because of conditioning of the roof. Some are in better shape than others!
Stage four is building the dormer. And getting it water tight.
Stage five is lead flashings and finishing the roof works.
Stage 6 is finishing works. Windows and rendering.
Then the roof is taken off the scaffolding. We let it rain to make sure there are no leaks...we dismantle the scaffolding. Then we finish the internal work!

Our work comes with a ten year guarantee if new products are used. Its very difficult to guarantee work with old tiles!
