The secret to a great photograph is in really knowing your subject. Taking time to get to know our clients; their personalities, likes, what makes them smile allows us to reflect that in our photography. Your photos then show the real you, not a manufactured artificial version of you.

We always start with why. Why is this photography important to you? Rarely is the answer "we want to document our day". There's so much more to it than that. It's important we find out what makes you tick, what's important to you, and what makes you unique. Our style seeks to bring out your personality in the photographs which are then uniquely yours, rather than the same as everyone else.

Simply working with people. No two jobs are ever the same, and we love finding that special something that's unique about everyone we work with, and translate that to the photos. There is nothing more rewarding than showing someone a photograph that makes them laugh or cry, and having a heap of fun doing it. And we get to do it every day.

Honestly it all happened when friends of ours asked us to photograph their wedding. Reluctantly, we agreed - nervous about making it right for them (there's no second chances here!). We discovered that not only was it immensely fun to do, but hugely rewarding to watch them relive their day through our photographs a couple of weeks later. Needless to say, from then we were hooked.

Choosing the right photographer is so important. They have a huge responsibility. You shouldn't choose a photographer simply based on what you read on their profile or anywhere else. Instead, give them a call or drop them a note and start a conversation. Get to know your potential photographers and let them get to know you. If you're the right fit for each other, you'll know. That goes for us and anyone else. Awesome photos start with "Hello".
