Visited specialist cars on the hunt for a Mercedes A class and they had one in stock which I fell in love with straight away! Process was very quick and easy from test driving the car i had the keys within a week! Car was spotless and they had really taken time to clean the car! Purchased my car a month ago after a very long search for what I wanted. As a single female shopping for a car I was daunted and had experienced some very bad sales people, but was so glad I stumbled across these guys. The car has been excellent and was immaculate on collection but what made this transaction a pleasure was the service from Gary. He never pressured me and i felt completely comfortable dealing with him. What can I say, thanks to the staff at Specialist Cars in Cardiff I now drive my dream car! From making contact via phone call with Gary on Saturday, I was on the road with my new AMG by Thursday morning which would have been sooner only the car was being freshly serviced by Mercedes that morning with no extra cost to me. Once I arrived on the day of collection, Phil the owner of Specialist Cars along with Caroline and Gary all very humble people made the entire process hassle free. Well I saw a RRS for sale last week and after phoning Gary and getting all my questions answered I travelled up from Plymouth with the better half to go have a look. The guys let us look around the car as we waited for Gary to get in (we were 45min early). Car was exactly as advertised and after a good look round was offered to go test drive on our own. I have to say that this is the best car dealership I have ever dealt with,and here's why?
I was looking for a particular car for a while, as I am quite particular in what I want. I was looking on the internet one Sunday, and saw exactly what I was looking for, so I thought I would call them and leave a message to call me back, as it was a Sunday, and I thought nobody would be there, how wrong was I? Phil, who is one of the partners of what I class as the real dynamic duo, answered the phone. I told him I was from London, and was in Aberystwyth, on my way back to London, and thought I could arrange for a test drive for Monday. He told me that as I was already in Aberystwyth that I could pop in on my way back, which I was not expecting. We got go the showroom,which is immaculate,and was greeted by Phil,who made us feel very welcome. He was at a family occasion when we called,and he took time out for us, which I think was a very nice gesture, as he could have quite easily have made arrangements for Monday. We were shown around, and were made to feel at ease, and not rushed in any way. Anyway, we bought the car, and arranged to pick it up a few days later, as we were coming by train. On the day, we arrived at Cardiff Central station, and were met by Gary, the other half of this great partnership, who drove us to the showroom. I have to say, the level of service, and friendliness is exceptional, and real, not that usual false " I'm your friend" attitude that you get from car dealers, Gary and Phil make you feel no pressure at all, and I think that's what separates them from everybody else. We were so impressed by the level of service that we asked them if they could find a car for my wife, again, with certain specifications. We had s call back in a few hours, our car had been found. There is a an advert out at the moment from a company stating that they can find the car you want, we'll let me tell you that Specialist Cars Uk Cardiff have been doing it for ages. I must say I'm using my daughters Facebook to write this review, as I do not have one. Also I must say that this review does not do justice to the service we received from Gary and Phil. I highly recommend them, and will not use anybody else now, as it is very rare that you find a level of service like this, in any profession, let alone the car sales industry. So the bottom line is, if you are looking for a car, give Specialist Cars Uk Cardiff a call first, I guarantee you will not need to call anybody else after that, they will give you 100% satisfaction guaranteed service. I will gladly travel from London which tells you all you need to know. People are always quick to write a bad review, and in great depth, but when it comes to writing a good review, you get the usual one word " brilliant" if you're lucky, and not much of a review, so I think that these guys deserve a mention, and the credit they truly deserve!

Travelled to Cardiff to buy my Porsche Cayenne at Specialist Cars .
This journey started with the sympathy and professionalism demonstrated on the first phone contact, giving me a reassurance regarding competency and reliability, important values for me, as a Doctor.
This was enough for me to defer other similar shortlisted cars and travel the next day 190 miles with the aim to buy my car. Staff stayed after hours awaiting for me, which is something I'll not forget!
Deal made on a Friendly and Professional environment.
Great support post sale, picking me up next day from the train Station!

Arrived home with my new car and thought I would offer a review of this company.

Adam was my point of contact and from my initial call of interest to collection of my car I found him to be extremely helpful, professional and polite. Nothing was too much trouble.

I part exchanged my Dodge Ram for a RR and the price offered was extremely fair but more importantly the service level of this company is second to none!

The cars are immaculate, the staff make you feel relaxed with no pressure to buy and upon collection of my car Adam spent as much time with me as I required even though it was edging into 7pm at night.
Seriously have to give 10/10 for service / car options / staff and customer care.
When I change the RR I will definitely be back as I found my experience totally faultless.

This place is full of high end,top quality, very well prepared vehicles, absolute pleasure to deal with, Caroline sorted everything over the phone before we arrived (600 mile round trip) everthing was ready, everything was as described and the car was absolutely stunning, I change cars every six months and can honestly say this is the best buying experience so far. Superb.

Just to update this review....more of a thank you than a review after having some unforeseen problems with the car after approximately 2 months I got landed with a rather hefty repair bill,the official warranty was my first port of call and they did pay out a percentage of The Bill, I then explained the situation to Gary at specialist cars who was very fair and with no real obligation to do so contributed a large sum towards the repair, as a man that doesn't in relative terms have a lot of money this meant a lot to me, so I can say genuinely hand on heart these are amongst the most trustworthy car dealers I have ever come across. Got to hand it to these guys, they've got some jaw dropping stock and they put the work in to make sure they are tip top. Perfect private viewing conditions with no sales pressure, solo test drive and even refreshments . I bought the car and they sorted out all the extra nice stuff like new MOT and run flats where needed, left very happy and comfortable that they'll be there to help should anything go wrong. Life is a journey and i have had a dream since a young boy to travel it in a Range Rover. Yesterday my dream came true thanks to Phil and his team. I was recommend to specialist cars by another satisfied customer, I was out of the country working and needed a car for when i returned, I had already spoken to a few dealers who were making life so hard for me to get any information about cars they had in stock, so I contacted Phil and gave him the specifications of what I wanted, within 2 days he had sourced the car I wanted ( an even better model in fact ) and had done all the relevant paperwork for me as i was limited to communications as I was offshore, not only had he sourced this amazing car he even opened up the garage on a Sunday so I could collect the car the day I arrived back in uk. ...... I am the proud owner of a RRS HSE which I bought in PX FOR my Ford Mondeo Titanium x Sport Estate. This 'company', who I refer to in that text I do so, rather than 'dealership' with good reason. The Senior Management, admin and valeting team headed by Directors Phil & Gary are leagues ahead of any other automotive companies I have dealt with previously. This company mainly advertise high performance vehicles, with high specifications and are all presented in immaculate condition. Their proffessionaliam, friendly manner and attention to detail is without reservation, can only be described as exceptional. Read a earlier review from a guy wanting a car but not willing to go distance, same scenario I wanted a bmw but assumed I would have to travel, if you see a car advertised by these guys and like the look of it then chances are when you go to view it that "like" will turn into "love". .... Having bought my last 3 cars from Phil over the past 10 years, I feel obliged to write a review. Although being a very close personal friend of mine for much longer, this review is being written solely based on my buying experience from this company. I was quite specific with my needs and requirements but it really doesn't matter how specific you are, you can be sure Specialist Cars UK will source it quickly and most importantly in pristine condition. In my opinion this is probably the most prestigious used dealership in Cardiff. It's like Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Porsche, Land Rover and Mercedes main dealers all under one roof. The standard and presentation is no different. Once you've bought here once, I very much doubt you will go anywhere else. The whole process is just so easy. "I have been looking for a new car for a few weeks and come across all types of sales people. I even experienced a BMW Dealer who was so crass and crude it makes you think how he was working at a main dealers. I stumbled upon Specialist cars as they stocked the car I was looking for - BMW 640d M Sport - low mileage and in great condition. I did some research on Specialist Cars UK as I live in Kent and it is a trek to travel to Cardiff. Initially I was chatting to Adam on the phone who was really helpful - forwarding pictures and detailed videos of the car as requested. I decided to visit Specialist cars after reading their reviews and was amazed at the way they approached their sales - simply - "here is the key and take your time looking around the car - if you have any questions please ask". This was a breath of fresh air and personally I prefer this approach - no-one looking over your shoulder or talking over you - just me and the car. After a test drive I paid the deposit and arranged to collect the car the following week.

During that week I was introduced to the owner Gary and he went out of his way to allow me to have the car inspected by Syntner Cardiff. All was good and there was a nail in a tyre that Gary had rectified immediately. Also, I bought the car on Finance and Specialist cars were great in getting all paperwork done before my arrival (thanks Caroline). Collected the car and after a nice chat with Gary drove back to Kent. (By the way they have some really nice cars in their unit)

Now this is where there is a defining difference between Specialist Cars and others. I noticed some minor detailing issues with the car once I got home, and Gary and Adam could not have gone out of their way enough to solve this issue to make me happy - Gary even offered to have the car collected or have one of his guys come down for the day to rectify the mistake. Wow - they were actually up for making the 500 mile round trip ! This issue was very minor but their response was superb. We came to an arrangement where all were happy and issue solved.

For me this after sales approach was both unique and went above and beyond expectations. The whole process was friendly, seem-less and I bought an immaculate car too :). I made x2 450 mile round trips and have no regrets - I would highly recommend Specialist Cars for their personal approach and will also buy a car for my better half from them too.

It was a Sunday, but Gary replied within an hour. Organised test drive on the Tuesday and bought the car two days later! Living 470 miles away I wasn't sure how it would be possible to go about purchasing my BMW 330d M performance package. But after having honest open conversations with Gary and Phil we came away with a great finance package and part exchange plan, even though neither of us had seen the cars we both had to offer in person.

Everything was done professionally over the phone and email so on the day of pick up it was just a matter of a couple of signatures I was on my way again.

Might've been almost 1000 miles round trip but I'd certainly have no issues with doing it all again. And it definitely made the journey easier driving my absolute beast of a motor home. Cant recomend these guy's enough 1st class service will most certainly be back. Cheers guys � More...
