Hello and welcome - I am a yoga teacher and holistic therapist based in London.

I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga since 2008, and have regularly practiced Iyengar too Both schools of yoga influence and inform my teaching style and approach - which I simply call Hatha Yoga.

Shaka teaches us (a group of 3) beginners yoga once a week, and we made a lot of progress since we first started! She always tailors the glass to our needs, explains well and adjusts when needed. She also brings tools ( blocks, bricks, belts) which is quite helpful. We really enjoy our lessons! More...

I am new to yoga, however Shaka made the transition smooth and undaunting. I felt that she understood everything that I needed. We have been working together for a few months now and am loving it. My progress is great and it all due to shaka. She is an excellent teacher, interpersonal skills and responsiveness are top class which is what someone needs for this type of working relationship. Awesome Personalised Yoga by SHAKA LISH
Can not say enough great things about Shaka. She introduced me to Yoga and completely changed my life. She visited me at home for a hour long private yoga class. My work requires me to travel and sometimes work late hours, Shaka was able to arrange yoga session to suite my daily routine, so i was never under stress of missing a class or having to paying for rescheduling a class.I have done 2 session of 10 classes each and Shaka has always been punctual and never missed a single class.Not only is she knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough; she is friendly, warm, and a general joy to be around. Before starting the Yoga class I had a lot of problems with my health. The yoga sessions designed by Shaka helped me with my health problems. Shaka has a great style and adjusts or modifies your postures to suit your ability. This has helped me learn the techniques.Shaka is a fabulous teacher who really gives a huge amount of personal attention. She knows your weaknesses and will help you to overcome those.Shakas style and methods has made yoga relevant, effective and FUN. Thank you so so much Shaka :), I highly ecommend her.

I've taken yoga classes from Shaka for several months and really think she's fantastic! I would highly recommend her, not only for her strong technique, but also her amazing personality - always very positive, encouraging and nurturing.
She also knows how to adapt the practice depending on my particular needs/interests. Shaka always makes sure there is a good balance between pushing myself a bit further in a pose, whilst also bearing in mind what is suitable for my body - I definitely feel in safe hands with her!

I love that my job makes people feel better - in themselves and in their own bodies. I love that my job is about connection, awareness and ultimately, sharing the knowledge of ancient traditions that offer us tools for living better and being happier.

I was inspired to start Skies and Flora when I qualified as a yoga teacher and as a Reiki therapist. Alongside classes and therapies, I wanted to offer my students and clients something that was holistic that gave them additional tools to support their path of wellbeing and self-knowledge.

I'm an experienced yoga teacher and also teach yoga philosophy and history. I have been practicing yoga myself for over 12 years continue to feel excited and passionate about sharing this practice.

My role as a teacher is to impart knowledge and build strength, openness and balance within the body as well as the mind. My overall focus is to allow you to be present, feel held and provide a space for you to explore your inner world more deeply. As well as attuning the physical and energetic body I endeavour to guide, strengthen and encourage you on your own journey of self-discovery.

I offer my service both in person and online. We would arrange session as normal but if online, I would send you a link in advance of our session.

I offer my services online and also take extra precautions when teaching in person - such as asking clients to use their own mats and equipment, wearing a mask and paying close attention cleanliness.

Services

I often work with clients privately in groups or on an individual basis - both in-person or online/remotely. This allows me to really work intuitively with you, give greater attention and adapt my teaching to your needs.

If our session are in-person, I usually travel to my client(s) and ask that you provide your own mat and any yoga props.

I have discounted rates for clients that book a block of classes of 5 or 10.
