In a nutshell, once the survey is completed, either a permitted development or planning application is submitted to the local council. Upon approval, building control submissions are made and structural drawings prepared. Party wall notices may also have to be made depending on the type of property. Once all is approved, construction commences.

During meeting the client on site, I avoid contact with client. I ask them to prepare the site by opening all internal doors and moving any curtains/blinds around windows (to avoid contact with surfaces) and I wear gloves if i need to access loft space or move items on the ground or first floors. All these points have helped me to carry out site work in accordance to covid regulations
