How long have you been in business?
I left school in 2006 and got a job for a large housing development firm “capital homes” as a general labourer, doing anything that was asked of me. My aspirations was to become a carpenter so i managed to get myself a trial with the carpentry company that was on the building site at the time (martin back carpentry) who decieded to keep me on and put me theough my apprenticeship where i gained my level 3 NVQ qualifications, i stayed with this firm covering all aspects of carpentrt for 9 years, i then wanted to try a different route (still carpentry based) and got a job with hammonds fitted furniture and was one of their installers for the past 8 years, with the last 2 years of this as a field support fitter (training new guys, attending the more difficult jobs and seeing to any upset customers who started their bedroom journey unfortunately without the best start) whilst always fitting in my own private work along side this. Ive recently become a BIKBBI Registered approved wrens kitchen & bedroom installer with the understanding im in full control of my own diary with the benifit of being able to take on as much of my own work as i wish and their happy to work around my diary filling in the gaps.
