What do you love most about your job?
My passion for counselling was `sparked` by my own life experiences and I often use `touchstones` from those experiences in my work. My approach is person centred where the depth and respect in the client/ counsellor relationship underpins the therapeutic work. In essence it is the relationship between client and therapist that helps give rise to change.
It is my desire and ability to engage at depth with another human being for their benefit that motivates me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own counselling practice to enable me to form my own counselling approach and not feel restricted within the confines of the inevitable organisational structures.
