Robbie was a last minute booking after we decided that we wanted live music for our ceremony and drinks reception. He was responsive to any emails and was open to suggestions of music outside his repertoire. Luckily he knew any songs outside the ones on his list but he will learn any that were required! On the day he turned up and was so friendly, putting us both at ease. He blended in seamlessly to the day and we had so many positive comments on how much he added to the atmosphere of the day. Robbie played at our wedding in September 2023 and we have completely lost track of how many people have told us how amazing he was! Firstly, he was great to work with and learnt a few random songs we requested, nothing was too much trouble. On the day he worked with our coordinating team to position himself in the right place depending on where our guests were, which was tricky as some was outside, and he allowed us to use his kit for the speeches which was an added bonus! Lastly, and most importantly, the music was absolutely perfect, each song was played beautifully, the song choices were great and it really added to our day. Contacted Robbie Roberts regarding a song which we wanted bespoke to us. We had in mind two songs which we really wanted to use for the walk in at our ceremony and Robbie managed to mix the two songs together so that we was able to hear both of them before the registrar started the ceremony. He was very helpful and changed anything we wanted done differently without hesitation. Provided lots of different options of the song to ensure we was happy with the final version. Robbie agreed to play for me at my wedding. Very glad I chose Robbie - he is very kind, accommodating and professional. He made it to the venue early, took initiative to speak to wedding staff, set up all his equipment outside, and even started to play early for quests when this was not required of him. He is so talented, playing a range of genres, engaging positively with the crowd, and taking recommendations upon my behalf. I appreciated the effort he put in, in preparation for our wedding. He practiced up until the wedding and provided me with videos asking me for feedback. In the months preceding our wedding he spoke with us on the phone so we could all talk over what would be good and what would be possible. We can’t recommend Robbie enough. He played during the drinks reception at our wedding and it was SO beautiful. Prior to the wedding we discussed music we like and he played a mixture of all our favourite artists on the day. He is super friendly and approachable and all our guests enjoyed his playing.
