This was by far the BEST experience I’ve had with home renovation/refitting/repairs. The level of cleanliness and professionalism is unmatched. I am usually wary of using ‘hire a tradesman’ type sites, but after being let down and ignored by local tradespeople and national companies alike I turned to Bark in hopes of finding someone to take on my bathroom refurbishment.

I’m very glad I did!

Ross responded to my request within hours of posting and that set the tone for communication throughout the entire job - excellent!

He and Graeme took time to fully understand the brief and I was delighted when their quote came in within budget. I was also impressed that they were willing to take on responsibility for all purchasing and procurement as I had sourced materials from several different suppliers.

The job progressed smoothly, the guys turned up when they said they would, and worked long and hard every day. They found solutions to every issue that an old and quirky house could throw at them and nothing seemed to faze them. It was a pleasure having them in my home as they were no bother at all, leaving the place tidy every night and always cheery (I will miss their playlist!!😀.)

5 stars is not enough in my opinion. Ross and John did a full bathroom refit. Old bathroom out, full new bathroom installed. Started when they said they would lots of issues with our walls floor and ceiling as nothing was straight or level so they had their work cut out for them. They arrived each morning with a smile and got on with it. They went ABOVE and BEYOND. Cleaned up after themselves and were thoroughly pleasant. I'm absolutely delighted with my new bathroom. Ross & Graham were really good. They listened to my ideas about wanting something a bit unique for our en-suite bathroom & delivered. Their work is of a good standard & the products they installed are good quality. Tiling looks great& although it took a bit longer due to size/complexity, the quality of the job was put above getting it “done” which was important to us. They both worked really hard & were readily available throughout the project to deal with any “snags” or bumps in the road.

The boys were clean/tidy & tried to make sure plasterwork looked as good as possible & even came back at a later date to hang our mirror once we’d painted,which was above & beyond.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use the boys again if we were getting other work done! More...

I asked R Marshall Pluming and Heating to install a new bathroom in my home as cheaply and quickly as possible.
My first meeting with them was 21st October discussing, planning, ordering and then installing now my bathroom is completely finished, today, 21st November. I can't be more thrilled.
These guys were friendly, professional and very hard working. They would not say the job was complete untill they were both happy with the aesthetics. I have some ugly pipework along the floor of the back wall of the bathroom and it has been completely hidden thanks to their skilled workmanship. You wouldn't know it was there. Impressive !
They tidied up at the end of every day....there were officially 3 days assigned to this job and they came back to make sure everything was "just so" on the 4th day.
I cannot fault this company who definitely put the customer first and I would be more than happy to have them help me out again in the future.
100% would encourage anyone to give this company some consideration for plumbing related jobs around the home. More...

Graeme and Ross just finished total remodel of our massive old bathroom and I am absolutely ecstatic about the result and the INCREDIBLE job they did. From first quote to the finish I cannot fault them, very easy to communicate with and very promptly answering every question, very helpful when it comes to helping to pick material and advise. Material all delivered on the first day. Very tidy and professional and they definitely are very experienced and know their craft. Ross and Graeme were terrific to work with. I'd highly recommend them to anyone - and have been recommending them to everyone looking to remodel their bathroom. From start to finish they were professional, diligent and tidy. Our job was not the easiest, and was delayed due to circumstances beyond their and our control. These two young lads went above and beyond to help us out! They worked around our needs which meant they worked day and night to accommodate us. We now have a lovely fully fitted bathroom. They are very busy but will hopefully come back when we are ready for our new kitchen to be fitted. We will definitely recommend them. Ross previously fully remodelled my en-suite including extending my shower area (we managed to make the wardrobe space in the spare bedroom smaller to get a bigger shower tray), installing a wall hung sink unit plus a new toilet & unit. Ross also suggested moving our radiator over nearer the shower tray (it was previously behind the door) which makes a lot more sense but is not something we considered. This work was carried out just before covid and I’ve still to find a fault with it.

We’ve got Ross coming out next week to give us some advice with our downstairs toilet as we stay in a new build house so what is currently fitted is quite basic and we feel there is a lot of wasted space. More...

I am a landlord who has used this company on a previous renovation project and have them booked back in for another project due to start in a few weeks.

They previously remodelled a full bathroom for me in a property I bought to renovate and then rent out. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The job was completed to a great standard and the guys managed it fully to avoid me having to go out daily.

They also offered great advice on a large wasted space area at the back door which was used by the previous owner for storing jackets, shoes etc. In this space they formed a partition wall, fitted a door, fitted a new toilet , sink & fully wet walled to provide the property with a downstairs WC which was great for adding value & was a big bonus when it came to letting the property out.
