Hastings, East Sussex
Hey there!
Welcome to Reeminikin Illustrations, home of the colourful shapes and squiggly lines. I'm Reem, the illustrator behind the brand. Located in quirky little Hastings, between the four walls of my private studio flat.
It all really started in 2013, when I began drawing from home and slowly became addicted to art supplies.

Describe your creative process.
After talking to you, collecting project details and mood boards, I trust my instinct and put pencil to paper. I start by sketching out small ideas of how the illustration/logo may look. These are usually done with graphite, so that we only think about specific elements and their juxtaposition within frame. Depending on how many roughs are made, I then get these roughs back to you -- where you and I can tweek and narrow down our design until we are both happy with the results. These initial sketches are then digitalised. Using my tablet to draw more complex versions, all while including color.
