Myself and Robert joined Mick and Tony last week on the Sports Show. They are so welcoming and put you at ease as soon as you arrive. They have a brilliant rapport and are so knowledgeable about all sports not only at a local level but also at a national level. This week with the Gordon Whelbourn Running Week, Mick has included a phone in to get the latest results and action as it happens which is not the easiest thing to carry out. Brilliant show. More...

Tonight I was a guest on the Sports Show. Just like last time Mick and Tony made me feel very welcome and at ease. Mick clearly prepares meticulously for all the shows he does taking time to research his guests and the sports and activities they participate in. Mick and Tony have a great rapport going and their shows always flow really well across a variety of topics. I love my music and have really enjoyed being a guest on Annie Turner's Outer Limits show but I'm also passionate about sport and it comes across Mick and Tony are too covering all the local action with great enthusiasm and professionalism. Newark Shelter is remaining open until the Weekend at Newark Barnby Gate Methodist Church Hall which is next to the Rutlands Arms Pub.
It will be open between 9.00pm and 10.30pm for the next few days up to Sunday.
If you know of anyone sleeping rough please inform them, we been having up to five attending each evening.
