QA Kitchens and Bathrooms Ltd recently completed an excellent total bathroom replacement job and I am delighted with the results. I used the Madeley showroom from which to make my selection of products. The 3 staff were all a pleasure to liaise with and I was particularly impressed with Designer Ross, who was extremely helpful and friendly. He listened to what I was aiming for, offering suggestions and advice where appropriate, coming up with solutions to queries that were both appealing and practicable, without exerting any sales pressures. His cheerful and humorous personality made the process of designing and choosing the new bathroom, all fixtures, fittings and décor a pleasant experience. The survey was completed by Director, Rob whose knowledge and experience picked up a few issues, the electrics being essential to address and the other an aesthetics one. The decision to spend a small extra sum to enhance the final finish was optional. The choice of tiles and flooring was wide; nothing was too much trouble for Ross and his colleagues to make sure I was totally happy with my selection.
QA employed fitter Jordan carried out the majority of the work over the 2 week period, supported when required by plastering and electrical contractors. I am full of praise for such an excellent fitter: professional, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, clean and tidy, with excellent customer care and liaison skills. He was reassuring when a few issues were experienced with faulty or missing parts (not QA’s fault) which he dealt with calmly and efficiently. In all, a jolly decent chap. In fact every single one of the staff and contractors encountered were a pleasure to communicate with.
If anyone has qualms about being required to pay the majority of funds before the project commences (with just 5% held back until completion) then from my experience in the case of QA there were no grounds for concern. When one is not simultaneously handing over money in exchange for receiving goods, whichever practice is adopted one party always takes a risk of not receiving a fully fulfilled contract. It was reassuring the company has been trading successfully in the county for many years with a deservedly good reputation and has recently expanded.
To conclude, I am more than happy to recommend QA Kitchens and Bathrooms Ltd for quality, aesthetic appeal, value for money, and a positive experience all round. More...

Thank you so much QA, we wanted a completely stress free kitchen renovation and that’s exactly what we got. John was amazing from the start, designing our kitchen exactly how we requested and coming over to check how it was all going. Jarek fitted our kitchen and it is absolutely perfect, he left everywhere clean and tidy at the end of each day, it was a pleasure to have him in our home. It was great to not have to arrange our own electricians, plumbers etc, QA did everything for us to make it as easy as possible. Everyone that worked on our kitchen was friendly and reliable, always turning up when they said they would which from past experiences with other companies is rare. Avoid this outfit at all costs. We are trying to get our en-suite completed. 2 to 3 days work, no longer than a couple of months wait they said when I paid the deposit in April. They also told me it would be completed in one go. They would come and only leave when the job was complete. 2 fitters arrived a week last Monday, promptly removed the shower cubicle, sink and under sink cupboard then left. 3 hours they were here. 'we are waiting for a delivery, should come this afternoon' which it did. Next day 2 totally different fitters arrive. Turns out parts are missing (regular occurrence apparently), so can only do part the job. They install the shower, seem to struggle to understand how to put the enclosure together but managed in the end and installed that. Put the sink and under sink cupboard back but haven't bothered fitting the filler strip (missing apparently - although on the delivery note). Then they promptly left telling us someone else will have to come and fit the radiator and light, not sure when but maybe tomorrow or the next day. After no show on Wed or Thurs called the office, eventually got John, who said they would come around Saturday, we were away and told him that it wasn't convenient but that we would expect them Monday (its now a week). Monday comes, john calls to say the reordered missing part is again wrong so they could not come and he would let us know when they could reschedule. SILENCE AGAIN!. I called again Wednesday to ask what was happening, get told we can come Saturday, again NO, Saturday isn't convenient. What's the obsession with fitting us in on Saturdays!!! Then get offered Friday. Great sorted. It's now Friday, I called the office this morning to be told it will be after 2, OK, at least it will get done. Take the afternoon off work, to get a call at 3.45 from yet another couple of fitters to say they have called at the Market Drayton office to pick up the missing part and John has gone home ill !!! Can they come tomorrow. (Determined to do Saturdays) Had a good chat on the phone with the new fitters and they are now coming first thing Tuesday. Let's hope so. Please do not place orders with these guys. The adverts state 'Managed install' it is so far from the truth. Missing parts, random fitters, poor communications, the list is endless.
