From the initial call to the finished work Steven Morgan and Evolve Bricklaying always showed a very professional approach. Steve's second piece of work with us. Last year he replaced a long high wall of reclaimed bricks. Not only did he take down and cleanly salvage almost all the bricks of the old wall, he sensitively and skilfully integrated these with "new" reclaimed bricks to increasing the size of the structure. Great result. This year he has been enclosing our new garden, again using reclaimed bricks cleverly to blend with the first project and our modern new extension. And now he's totally rebuilt our road-facing Bath stone wall without fuss, on time and it looks perfect, demonstrating his great stonemasonry skills on this one. Steve at Evolve has done a number of recent jobs for me which include the sensitive restoration of historic brickwork in lime mortar and the construction of new build foundations and masonry. As a chartered building surveyor, I have very exacting standards and I can confirm that Steve has an excellent level of knowledge and that him and his team are highly proficient in their field.The work was fairly priced (I deal with building contractor's quotes almost daily) and the team are courteous, hard working and clean up well after themselves.If you are looking for a good value and reliable bricklayer in the Bristol/Bath area then Evolve are certainly worth considering. Well what can I say about my personal experience concerning Pro-Build.Me and my partner were in desperate need of an extra Bed room and Bathroom and what with the financial markets the way they are a remortgage was out of the question so decided to have an extension done on our house instead. We got in contact with Pro-Build for a quote ... without delay the owner of the Company Mr Morgan came to our house and well Quoted us happy!! Straight away without delay he came round and started. I've used Probuild for external garden retaining walls/steps/flower beds/paths and despite a tricky terrain of hillside rock. ...steep gradient and the difficulty of not being able to use heavy equipment due to accessability....the final job is stunning and even this self confessed perfectionist is thrilled. I'd be happy to show before and after pictures to any potential customers. It was a big project but the pricing was competitive and the all important finish top draw. Very happy to recommend.
