Dan and the team at PPG recently completed a kitchen extension to our 3 bedroom house the work was done efficiently, on time and to an excellent standard.
The team also completely decorated the whole downstairs of our property and once again efficiently on time and to an excellent standard.
The team were polite, got the work completed in the time frame and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Was a bit dubious to paying a deposit as been ripped off in the past by cowboy builders who walked away with £3500 (went to get materials never came back) but Dan at PPG did exactly what he said very punctual & tidy he converted our garage into a lovely new office ,fitted new kitchen and bathroom and decorated throughout the final finish is amazing many thanks to ppg and the team

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Any experienced builder ,architect or surveyor will be able to advise you whether your garage is suitable to convert, particularly the soundness of the walls, roof and foundations. Some are too poorly built or decrepit in which case it might be cheaper to knock down and replace. If your garage is constructed of block or brick and structurally sound, it should be okay but will still need an interior fit-out. Garages are not usually designed to be habitable spaces. Typically, they are built with a single skin brick or block wall and without insulation. To convert into a home office, the walls will need to be plaster boarded, insulated and decorated. The footings will also need to be inspected to make sure they are up to scratch.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Stages from start to finish
Stage 1-Level, insulate and damp-proof the floor.
Stage 2-Infill the garage door to create a solid wall if required.
Stage 3-build walls
Stage 4-wire electrics and plumbing if needed
Stage 5-Insulate the walls and the roof.
Stage 6-Plasterboard and plaster.
Stage 7- fit any fixtures and fittings
Stage8-Decorate
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
the pitch should be at a higher angle, so that the central head height is the highest possible. Any angle above 30 degrees would work best. In order for your proposed loft conversion to pass building regulations, it must measure 2.2 metres from the floor to the highest point.

Stage 1-An architect or surveyor will confirm suitability and create plans
Stage 2-The loft is cleared and prepped
Stage 3- rsj fottes & New floor joists fitted
Stage 4-Floors are insulated and floor boards laid
Stage 5-Rafters reinforced & Dormers installed (if applicable)
Stage 6- staircase and roof lights fitted(if applicable)
Stage 7-Windows fitted in dormers & Dormers tiled and vents fitted
Stage 8-The roof is insulated & Partition walls erected
Stage 9 -Wall plates and first fix & all electrics first fix
Stage 10-Access panels for water, electrics and eaves storage & walls insulated , plasterboarded , architrave and skurting fitted
Stage11-plaster
Stage 12- second fix all electrics
Stage 13- fit all fixtures and fittings
