Our massive room with lovely views of the river, comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere suited us perfectly. The short walk to the centre of Henley is another plus point, and the only minus was what often lets hotels down - the very ordinary continental breakfast and non-continental coffee.

2 years ago today my husband and I got spliced in the Pavilion. We had the best day of our lives, thanks to Cerys and Victoria. We still think you can't beat Phyllis Court as a venue, such stunning location, and food. We visited Phyllis court last year for a beautiful 1st wedding anniversary meal, but now we have a 24 day old little boy, so a walk past on the opposite side is probably all we will manage this year :-)

We got married at phyllis court in the grandstand on Saturday 4 October. We had the most amazing, incredible day. The venue is beautiful and I can't complement all the staff enough. In the lead up Dominique couldn't do enough for us, just brilliant. On the day Shirley was amazing, so helpful, calm, nothing was too much trouble. I was working there doing security for the regatta and the festival all the staff are lovely and most of the members very respectful of the job we do I've been doing the regatta for around 15 years I work for assist security in Wimbledon and I'll be back next year I love it
