Every year when we are here there always an issue with the caravan. Either not cleaned properly, broken or rotten unsafe porches, appliances not working or broken, mould and stains on bed sheets.
You will think that tidiness and hygiene is one of the most important aspect of a holiday resort, especially with COVID still lurking about.
I really don't get it...Why is it so hard for people to clean such small space??
When we arrived on a Friday there was broken glass all over the place in front of the smoking area outside the main entrance.
When we left the next Friday... All the glass was still there...
And don't forget the changing rooms from the swimming pool....
They are disgusting!
You would think that a TV program that's been broadcast on the BBC would be on top of things, especially hygiene.
Even though, for the first time in the 5 years, they compensated us with something (a caravan upgrade), for which we are very grateful. But I still don't believe they get the message.
It is such an amazing location with a breathtaking view, overlooking Firth of Forth with Edinburgh on the otherside.
But I think we have to look elsewhere for our next stay.

Hi we are just back from a week's holiday. I would highly recommend this caravan park, Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The meals are amazing. Lots of things to do on site and the beach is 5 minutes away.

Great pool and restaurant but the pool changing facilities are awful. One family cubicle when the pool is mainly full of families, majority of lockers have lost their steps so you have to take a loose key and a lot of the cubicles don’t have a working latch to keep the door closed. Such a shame!

Had a fantastic stay overnight in one large family rooms. The room had an upstairs double bed, complete with tv, with the downstairs having a single bed & sofa bed & tv too complimented with its own balcony, which offers wonderful views over the forth, Edinburgh & the three bridges.
The hotel itself has its own bar & dinning room area complete with outside sitting area on the balcony. Good variety of beverages & food, served by the friendly staff.
There’s a pool & play area for kids too.
Function room downstairs which can cater for up to 100+ guests.

Hubby booked a surprise 3 day break for us and we were not disappointed. The caravan park looks amazing with all the caravans in terraces up on the hillside. Our caravan was immaculate and looked as if it was brand new. Beautiful swimming pool. Enjoyed our evenings at the residents bar lounge, with nightly entertainment on in the venue upstairs and food was great with big portions.. We were sorry to be leaving but shall definitely be back. Hi am absolutely disgusted myself and family are in a caravan 5*plus, yesterday I ran a bath as I can’t stand long enuff for a shower, when I got in bath I put tap on for about 10 dead flies to come out so I left it, 6pm tonight we we’re sitting in ure food court for when I went up to ask for menu to order to be told snacks finished then I said can we get a seat in restaurant please the young girl
I spoke to went over to speak to a other girl to come back and say sorry we close at 6.30 and not open again till 7.30 then they were fully booked. It does not say anywhere about use closing for a hour and I understand use have been busy but this way is definitely not the way to treat holiday makers.

This was our second time at the site first time we came the shower block was closed this time it was open and its the only thing that is letting the site down very dated tiles falling off the walls makes it feel dirty. But we still enjoyed our time here quiet site plenty for my little girl to do with the parks not far from the site and the beach right on your door step. Please take peoples reviews into consideration and upgrade the toilet block its a big thing for people using the camping side of things and it is a major thing for people leaving the site. More...

Purchased a caravan years ago worst thing we did staff were not helpful the club was terrible if you had kids we were in a separate section could not interact with others ( glass bowl ) we called it actually dirty glass collection area found it really expensive, cheeper to go to the pool in burntisland. Final insult got a chap at the caravan door”your kids are to loud“ they were at the park , told the person that has the caravan up from the park paid a lot of money for it ! We packed up left that day sold the caravan made £ 1750 loss ! Hopefully it’s much better now More...

Recently, the cleanliness of the swimming pool is non existent!! Strong smell of urine whenever you enter the changing rooms … floors wet, hair, paper and grit on floors looks very neglected!
Last week when we visited with my 2 year old granddaughter, we noticed the pool water looked very cloudy but thought nothing if it until the bubbles got switched on… everyone including my granddaughter started coughing !! Silver jewelry that I had on was tarnished showing signs that too much chlorine in the pool … result, manager called and the pool
Closed !! I think the pool needs a massive makeover and equipment cleaned and serviced and also employ a cleaner!! We will not be back!!

Been here twice in a week to use the pool with my children and the toilet situation is actually horrific. The first time my daughter was really needing and the toilet was dirty with no loo roll so I went to the desk asked them to clean it then 3 guys standing there said yeh ok, went back 15 mins later and still nothing done at this point my daughter was really needing so I had to get blue roll and clean the toilet my self so she could use it. The guy went in to put loo roll in after all this but didn’t clean?. There are 4 toilets there I don’t think it’s acceptable to have them out of order constantly they need to be checked and maintained regularly like most places the smell is also horrific just sheer laziness from the staff and management.
