Outdoor Walls & Retaining Wall Construction
Pete, Andy and the lads did a cracking job of my garden. 30m plus of walling and composite fence plus a large area of paving.
The lads turned up when they said they would barring bad weather which they made up for by working weekends.
They were friendly and polite and kept the site tidy.
The job came in on time and on budget except for some extras we asked for.
I would definitely recommend Pete and Andy.

We hired Peter to complete an half finished, 2-storey wrap around extension that was left, structurally unsafe and literally abandoned by the original building contractors we hired.
After extorting a large amount of cash, they said was needed to complete the work to 2nd storey floor height, we were left with single skinned walls less than 1.8m high in places, built on uneven and inadequate foundations, with an endless list of issues that the building control officer informed us created by what he described as a team of blind donkeys.
After 6 other builders had told us more or less the exact same and refused to take the salvage job on, we stumbled upon Peter, he accepted the job, pinpointed all the issues that needed immediate attention, he rectified them all and completed the entire extension well within his estimated timescale, considerably below the original budget we'd been quoted by the original builder and 3 other companies.
The whole experience with Peter was beyond our original expectations and restored our faith, we were kept up to date on the progress and any changes that were needed we were consulted on before Peter carried them out and literally made us feel that he'd taken on the burden of the stress we'd suffered himself. We really can't recommend Peter and his team highly enough, we will definitely call on him first in the future

PHD Brickwork have over the last 9 days completely transformed our existing garage into a wonderful home office/gym.
Cannot recommend Pete and his team highly enough.
We had been let down by previous builders, PHD answered the call to help and we are so grateful. Their work is of exceptional quality with all bases covered. But not only that, they kept us informed all the way through the conversion (the dedicated WhatsApp group they created was great), and they spent time & dedication cleaning up after themselves (they even cleaned next doors car which had a bit of brick dust on it, and jet washed our drive - without being asked to).

Pete and his lads have done groundwork and brick/block work on my single storey side extension, overall happy with the quality of work and all has been pqssed by building regulations, I cant fault him, he was here every morning weather depending and put the graft in, will definatley recommend.

Any garage can be made a living space, all depends on the budget and current buildings quailty.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Meaure up and plan, arrange trades and materials. Work to a plan, involving customer where needed and majority of conversion. Normally inspect as works ongoing and stages complete. Customer enjoys new living space.
How long have you been in business?
10 years experience, 3 years in education.
7 years in the real world building from ground up not in a warm building on a lovely level concrete floor.
What guarantee does your work come with?
Mine and my colleagues work comes with a guarantee ranging from 2-25 years.
All depends on the current buildings standard for ours to outlive or overcome current downfalls the property has.
What do you love most about your job?
Being hands on and improving homes and meeting some great people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was made redundant, there was nothing else but doing it on my own with the experience of warehouse, petrol station and multi million pound gated communities. I watched it all from start to finish and am very experienced and got the right team with me
