Pan Liang is a patient, skilled and joyful teacher. I have been taken piano lessons for the last eight months and he always has been very supportive and warm. I thoroughly enjoy his lessons.

I took both individual and group Jazz alto-saxophone lessons from Pan Liang for a few months when I first started out playing the saxophone. He is extremely patient and detail oriented in his teachings. The lessons are structured from the very basic parts of the saxophone, and embouchure to the more advance Jazz progression and improvising in the later lessons.

The individual lessons is to walk you through Jazz, how to improvise, improving your embouchure and techniques. He will also teach you exercises to improve your playing in terms of long tones and assist you in finding the right sound for your saxophone via recommendation of different reeds and mouthpieces, as he believes in getting the best/right sound without spending too much on the equipment.

The group lesson was to help us coordinate when playing as a quartet, how to listen out for one another and to identify the strength of playing in a group setting.

My saxophone playing skills drastically improved over time with Pan Liang's lesson. I highly recommend him as a teacher because I know he's committed to his students' improvement and music playing in terms of skills and techniques. More...

Mr.Ho has been teaching my 12 year old daughter the saxophone, and my 8 year old daughter the piano since the beginning of 2019.

We are thrilled with their progress and they enjoy lessons with him. As a mother who takes a keen interest in teaching styles, I have found that Mr. Ho understands children. He uses a different style for my 8 year old and for my 12 year old. My 8 year old would tell you that her lessons are fun - Mr Ho uses games, rhymes, characters and stories. With my 12 year old, ‘sounding good’ and ‘getting it right’ is really important to her, so he has adapted how he is teaching to make sure she feels these things, and remains motivated.

Mr.Ho is a highly valued member of a school community where the teaching is TRULY child led. He is immersed in an approach that places as much value on the experience as the outcome.

I would recommend Mr.Ho to anyone who is looking for a truly committed music teacher who helps people prepare for exams or just play for pleasure.
