Central Heating System Installation & Replacement
I’m really pleased to have used Plumbing Angel to install gas central heating. Their advice from who to inform to connecting gas to the house and getting a gas meter fitted before they could install was invaluable. They were with me all the way, guiding to the next step. The central heating installation went smoothly. Clearing up was done as the work progressed - no mess at the end of the day. It took 4 days to install - pipes, radiators and boiler. The plumber (Garfield) was a lovely, polite, happy and hard-working gentleman and explained the stages of work he was doing each day. Bathroom Installation & Remodel
I hired them to do a bathroom refurbishment. Pamela was very nice to talk to and explained all the steps of the job clearly.
However the plumber she sent left a lot to be desired.
Many of the tiles on the floor were misaligned but insisted on they were manufacturers fault.
The sink vanity unit is very loosely attached to the wall. Upon further inspection, one of the two screws holding up the unit was not secured properly. He just broke the tile behind the unit and stuck it in there so it just came loose over time.
The overall finish is generally very rough. There were silicone streaks everywhere over the glass shower door and other glossy surfaces so made it very difficult to clean. Several areas on the tiles surfaces had missing grout as well.
Perhaps they are good for jobs that don’t require much attention to finishing detail but this bathroom installation was poorly executed.

Therefore, we offered you a solution to provide better mosaic tiles, which we would install at no additional cost to you, but you chose not do so. Furthermore, we have consistently reminded you of our workmanship guarantee, which covers any issues that may arise. We are here to rectify any concerns you have, but it is essential that you reach out to us for assistance. Sink Vanity Unit: Regarding the issue with the sink vanity unit, we clearly communicated that the issue was caused by your builders during subsequent work. Our installation was completed successfully, and we were assured that everything was in order during the handover, hence the reason you paid the final invoice immediately upon completion. It's important to note that we pointed out the damage when our engineer visited your property to investigate the leak issue two weeks ago. Grout Issues: Grout can sometimes shrink as it dries, leading to pockets and imperfections. We informed you of this during the handover and offered to come back and address any snags that may naturally occur during the drying process. However, you did not point out these concerns to us or our engineer during his recent visit to investigate the source of your leak. We are committed to resolving any such issues promptly when brought to our attention. Leak and Wall Cracks: The leak issue was determined to be a result of the building work being conducted by your builders, which caused cracks in your wall, allowing water in from outside and especially when it rains. You acknowledged this fact and requested a quotation from us to address the wall cracks. While we chose not to undertake this extra work, it is important to clarify that our focus has always been on delivering exceptional bathroom installations.
