How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Any garage is suitable for conversion it all just depends on what you want to do with the space and how it would incorporate into your existing home. Always be realistic with your expectations as to what you’ll be able to fit into the conversion with the space you garage has.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
First off is raising the floor level with an insulated floor, then you want to fill in the garage door opening in which ever asthetic option you desire which would normally include atleast a window, then you move onto the stud work to create insulated walls around the perimeter and any internal separation walls that may be in your conversion, then electrics and plumbing as necessary, then plasterboard and skim throughout and finish up with desired decorating.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
You’ll want a minimum completed ceiling height of 2.2m for building regulation so you’ll need to ensure you have appropriate space the conversion or an appropriate size loft that could incorporate a dormer conversion to vm rest the space needed.

Firstly you need to strengthen out the floor space so it can become a liveable room, then isolate and board the floor, from here you reconfigure the loft space and roof area to creat the loft conversion depending on how you’ve planned it out, this may not include a dormer or skylights depending on what your going for, then electrics and plumbing as necessary, then move onto plasterboarding and skimming and finish up with desired decorating.
