Sophia is one of the best yoga teachers I’ve had the opportunity to work with! She listened to what I wanted to achieve and so far we have been able to greatly improve my technique for the handstand.

She has an amazing understanding of the body and has taught me the science behind all the moves we do in the lesson.

I would recommend Sophia to all levels as she is brilliant at tailoring the lessons to suit your strengths along with improving your weaknesses with her expert knowledge.

I will caveat this review with the fact I've only done a handful of sessions with Sophia, but the experience so far has been hugely rewarding.
As a relative newcomer, we discussed goals, outcomes and some of the theory behind yoga before we started and often return to these as we tailor the lessons. Sophia is a really empathetic and knowledgeable teacher, so while the sessions are demanding they are also enjoyable and feel relaxed. Would highly recommend.

Sophia is such an amazing yoga teacher! I've never worked with someone so clear and inspired. Her practice, explanations and guidance have truly helped me understand and fall in love with yoga. She's a gift!

Before each of my private yoga lessons with Sophia, she asked me what I wanted to work on — shoulder pain, hip openers, strength, etc — so that she could design a class tailored to me and my goals. And each one of our hour long lessons did exactly that, exploring poses I’ve never even seen in my group classes.

Her voice is calm and soothing, and her descriptions help me understand the core alignments and the intentions behind each pose — to deepen my awareness of my body as a system and help me prevent injury.

I loved our sessions together in LA and I sorely miss her presence here.

These classes are the highlight of my week. Even when I'm tired she always manages to work around my needs. Sophia creates the perfect balance between relaxation and strong flow. Even in the few months I have been seeing her, the confidence in my handstands, flexibility and general wellbeing has improved massively. The sequences always seem fun and nourishing and she is often able to make me smile with her humour which really helps when you've had a tough day.
Doesn't matter how much I sweat, the end of the class is always so relaxing I feel like i'm floating.

Hire her! You won't regret it.

I did private sessions with Sophia, and I absolutely loved her attention to detail. She saw areas in my form that I thought were correct since practicing yoga, but she was able to adjust and make corrections according to proper form. I highly recommend Sophia!
